Abstract

A solid preparation improved in oral absorption and reduced in fluctuations of oral absorption can be obtained by incorporating an organic acid, particularly tartaric acid, in a solid preparation having, as an active ingredient, a high content of a quinolone compound, particularly sitafloxacin, having poor water solubility at pH around neutrality.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A solid preparation comprising at least one compound selected from quinolone compounds or salts thereof, or hydrates thereof and tartaric acid.

2 . A solid preparation according to claim 1 , wherein the quinolone compound is slightly soluble in water at pH around neutrality.

3 . A solid preparation according to claim 2 , which comprises at least one selected from sitafloxacin represented by the following formula:

or salts thereof, or hydrates thereof and tartaric acid.

4 . A solid preparation according to any one of claims 1 to 3 , which is in the form of tablets or capsules.

5 . A solid preparation according to claim 4 , which is in the form of capsules.
