Abstract

A body receptacle for a wheeled frame allows for the transport of babies in a bicycle trailer. The body receptacle has a flexible mat that is brought into the intended transport form with the help of tensioning devices.

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:  
     
         1 . Body receptacle for a wheeled frame in particular for the transportation of babies which can be fastened in the frame with at least one fastening element, the body receptacle comprising: a flexible mat, which can be brought into the transporting form with the help of tensioning devices.  
     
     
         2 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1  further comprising sidewalls arranged on at least a portion of the sides of the mat, which block the babies from slipping out sideways.  
     
     
         3 . Body receptacle according to  claim 2 , wherein the sidewalls are at least partially padded.  
     
     
         4 . Body receptacle according to  claim 2  wherein the sidewalls are made from an air permeable fabric.  
     
     
         5 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1 , further comprising a belt running lengthwise along each side of the mat.  
     
     
         6 . Body receptacle according to  claim 2 , further comprising a belt running lengthwise along each side of the mat.  
     
     
         7 . Body receptacle according to  claim 6 , wherein the belts run along the upper edges of the sidewalls.  
     
     
         8 . Body receptacle according to  claim 5 , further comprising fastening elements are on the belts.  
     
     
         9 . Body receptacle according to  claim 5 , wherein the belts run inside tubular sleeves.  
     
     
         10 . Body receptacle according to  claim 9 , wherein the sleeves are made of a foamed material.  
     
     
         11 . Body receptacle according to  claim 9 , wherein the belts are glued into the sleeves.  
     
     
         12 . Body receptacle according to  claim 9 , wherein the sleeves are foldable.  
     
     
         13 . Body receptacle according to  claim 9 , wherein the sleeves are curved lengthwise.  
     
     
         14 . Body receptacle according to  claim 9 , wherein the mat has a concave shape.  
     
     
         15 . Body receptacle according  claim 1 , further comprising a raised padding along the front edge of the mat.  
     
     
         16 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1 , further comprising a strap fastened to the backside of the mat and running crosswise to the mat's longitudinal axis and fastening elements on the strap.  
     
     
         17 . Body receptacle according to  claim 5 , wherein the length of the belts can be adjusted at least at one of their ends.  
     
     
         18 . Body receptacle according to  claim 16 , wherein the length of the strap can be adjusted at least at one of its ends.  
     
     
         19 . Body receptacle according to  claim 8 , wherein at least one of the fastening elements is made in the form of a snap buckle working together with a corresponding counter-piece attached to the frame.  
     
     
         20 . Body receptacle according to  claim 16 , wherein at least one of the fastening elements is made in the form of a snap buckle working together with a corresponding counter-piece attached to the frame.  
     
     
         21 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1 , wherein its surfaces are at least partially covered with fleece.  
     
     
         22 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1 , wherein the mat is at least partially made from a textile fabric.  
     
     
         23 . Body receptacle according to  claim 22 , wherein the textile fabric forms the underside of the mat.  
     
     
         24 . Body receptacle according to  claim 22 , further comprising a layer of foamed plastic forming a padding on the top side of the textile fabric.  
     
     
         25 . Body receptacle according to  claim 24 , wherein the padding is breathable.  
     
     
         26 . Body receptacle according to  claim 9 , wherein the mat is at least partially made from a textile fabric.  
     
     
         27 . Body receptacle according to  claim 26 , wherein the lengthwise running belts and sleeves are sewn into the textile fabric.  
     
     
         28 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1 , further comprising a restraint to retain the babies therein.  
     
     
         29 . Body receptacle according to  claim 28 , further comprising openings in the mat provided for passing through safety belts attached to a selected one of (i) the frame or (ii) the back of the mat.  
     
     
         30 . Body receptacle according to  claim 28 , further comprising a central opening at a lower end of the mat for a crotch strap to be run therethrough.  
     
     
         31 . Body receptacle according to  claim 28 , further comprising at least one pair of openings on the mat allowing for shoulder belts to pass therethrough.  
     
     
         32 . Body receptacle according to  claim 28 , further comprising several pairs of openings positioned one above the other on each side of the mat allowing for shoulder belts to pass therethrough.  
     
     
         33 . Body receptacle according to  claim 1 , wherein the frame is part of the passenger compartment of a bicycle trailer.
