Abstract

A height-adjusting device for a handle and a seat of an electric scooter in the invention includes a handle tube and a seat tube respectively extended from a front frame and a rear frame of an electric scooter and both having at least one projection and engagement holes; a handle stem and a seat post both having at least one groove respectively corresponding to the projections of the handle tube and the seat tube, and at least one resilient stopper respectively engaged in the engagement holes of the handle tube and the seat tube. Only to press the resilient stoppers to move the handle stem or the seat post to a required height, and make the resilient stoppers engaged in the engagement holes, thus easily and conveniently adjusting and fixing a handle or a seat at a required position for people of different height to ride the electric scooter comfortably.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A height-adjusting device for a handle and a seat of an electric scooter comprising:
a handle tube extended upwards from a front frame of an electric scooter and provided with at least one projection disposed on an inner surface of a wall thereof as well as a plurality of engagement holes arranged in said wall thereof; a handle stem extended downwards from a handle of said electric scooter and capable of being inserted and engaged in said handle tube of said front frame, said handle stem provided with at least one groove disposed in an outer surface of a wall thereof for corresponding in position to said at least one projection of said handle tube of said front frame as well as at least one resilient stopper disposed in an appropriate place thereof for being correspondingly engaged in said plurality of engagement holes of said handle tube of said front frame; and, whereby when said handle is to be adjusted in height, only to press said at least one resilient stopper of said handle stem to move said handle stem upwards or downwards to a required height, and then make said at least one resilient stopper engaged in said plurality of engagement holes of said handle tube, thus easily and conveniently adjusting and fixing said handle at a required position for people of different height to ride said electric scooter comfortably.

2 . A height-adjusting device for a handle and a seat of an electric scooter comprising:
a seat tube extended upwards from a front end of a rear frame of an electric scooter and provided with at least one projection disposed on an inner surface of a wall thereof as well as a plurality of engagement holes arranged in said wall thereof; a seat post extended downwards from a seat of said electric scooter and capable of being inserted and engaged in said seat tube of said rear frame, said seat post provided with at least one groove disposed in an outer surface of a wall thereof for corresponding in position to said at least one projection of said seat tube of said rear frame as well as at least one resilient stopper disposed in an appropriate place thereof for being correspondingly engaged in said plurality of engagement holes of said seat tube of said rear frame; and, whereby when said seat is to be adjusted in height, only to press said at least one resilient stopper of said seat post to move said seat post upwards or downwards to a required height, and then make said at least one resilient stopper engaged in said plurality of engagement holes of said seat tube, thus easily and conveniently adjusting and fixing said seat at a required position for people of different height to ride said electric scooter comfortably.

3 . The height-adjusting device for a handle and a seat of an electric scooter as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a clamp member is mounted to a top end of said handle tube of said front frame for facilitating said handle tube to clamp said handle stem of said handle tightly.

4 . The height-adjusting device for a handle and a seat of an electric scooter as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a clamp member is mounted to a top end of said seat tube of said rear frame for facilitating said seat tube to clamp said seat post of said seat tightly.
