Abstract

A shooting system is disclosed for visibly displaying a hit point of an optical bullet without the need for deforming or enlarging a bullet mark of the optical bullet on a target. The shooting system of the present invention has a display device for simultaneously displaying first data indicative of a bullet mark at a hit point of an optical bullet on the target, set in a predetermined size and shape, and second data indicative of the position of the hit point of the optical bullet on the target. In this way, the hit point of the optical bullet is visibly displayed by the second data without the need for enlarging or deforming the bullet mark of the optical bullet.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A shooting system comprising:
a ray gun for emitting an optical bullet; detecting means with a target removably mounted thereon for detecting a hit point on said target of the optical bullet emitted from said ray gun; and display means for simultaneously displaying first data indicative of a bullet mark at a hit point of the optical bullet on said target, said first data being set in a predetermined size and shape, and second data indicative of the position of the hit point of the optical bullet on said target based on the result of a detection on said detecting means.

2 . The shooting system according to claim 1 , wherein said display means displays said second data as data indicative of the center of the hit point of the optical bullet.

3 . The shooting system according to claim 1 , wherein said display means displays said second data as data indicative of a calculating point on the hit point of the optical bullet for calculating a score for shooting.

4 . The shooting system according to claim 1 , wherein said display means displays said second data as data which indicates the position of the hit point of the optical bullet in a predetermined shape.

5 . The shooting system according to claim 4 , wherein said display means displays said second data as data in said predetermined shape which comprises an “×” mark.

6 . The shooting system according to claim 4 , wherein said display means displays said second data as data in said predetermined shape which comprises a “+” mark.

7 . The shooting system according to claim 4 , wherein said display means displays said second data as data in said predetermined shape which comprises an arrow.

8 . The shooting system according to claim 1 wherein said display means blinks said second data.

9 . The shooting system according to claim 1 , wherein said display means displays said first data as data indicative of a bullet mark which is set in a predetermined size and shape in accordance with a particular shooting game event.

10 . A display device for use with a shooting system using a ray gun, wherein:
said display device simultaneously displays first data indicative of a bullet mark at a hit point of an optical bullet on a target, said first data being set in a predetermined size and shape, and second data indicative of the position of the hit point of the optical bullet on said target.

11 . The display device according to claim 10 , wherein said second data is displayed as data indicative of the center of the hit point of the optical bullet.

12 . The display device according to claim 10 , wherein said second data is displayed as data indicative of a calculating point on the hit point of the optical bullet for calculating a score for shooting.

13 . The display device according to claim 10 , wherein said second data is displayed as data which indicates the position of the hit point of the optical bullet in a predetermined shape.

14 . The display device according to claim 13 , wherein said second data is displayed as data in said predetermined shape which comprises an “×” mark.

15 . The display device according to claim 13 , wherein said second data is displayed as data in said predetermined shape which comprises a “+” mark.

16 . The display device according to claim 13 , wherein said second data is displayed as data in said predetermined shape which comprises an arrow.

17 . The display device according to claim 10 , wherein said second data is blinked.

18 . The display device according to claim 10 , wherein said first data is displayed as data indicative of a bullet mark which is set in a predetermined size and shape in accordance with a particular shooting game event.
