Abstract

A gaming machine is provided with a gaming board having at least one winning hole whereby a prescribed number of balls are paid out as the ball falls into the winning hole, and a display unit which displays images of a variable display game, a single game of which starts out with a plurality of symbols being displayed variably and ends with the stopping of the variable display of a plurality of symbols. The display unit is disposed on a reverse face of the gaming board and at least a part of the gaming board behind which the display unit is disposed has transparency.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A gaming machine comprising: 
 a gaming board having at least one winning hole whereby a prescribed number of balls is paid out as the ball falls into the winning hole; and    a display unit which displays images of a variable display game, a single game of which starts out with a plurality of symbols being displayed variably and ends with the stopping of the variable display of a plurality of symbols; wherein,    the display unit is disposed on a reverse face of the gaming board and at least a part of the gaming board behind which the display unit is disposed has transparency.    
     
     
         2 . A gaming machine according to  claim 1 , wherein the display unit is disposed on an entirety of the reverse face of the gaming board which has transparency.  
     
     
         3 . A gaming machine according to  claim 1 , wherein the gaming board has a transmittance rate of 30% or more.  
     
     
         4 . A gaming machine according to  claim 1 , wherein the gaming board has a transmittance rate of 50% or more.  
     
     
         5 . A gaming machine according to  claim 1 , wherein the part of the gaming board behind which the display unit is disposed comprises an acrylic resin.  
     
     
         6 . A gaming machine according to  claim 1 , wherein the part of the gaming board behind which the display unit is disposed has a peg.  
     
     
         7 . A gaming machine according to  claim 1 , wherein a plurality of the display units are disposed.
