Supreme toothbrush holder

Abstract

A toothbrush holder is disclosed. The holder comprising a body member having a front end and a back end. The body member has a rigid geometric shape and comprises at least one holding component which is removably located within the body at the front end of the body. The holding component is adaptable to frictionally engage a toothbrush within the holder. The holder of the invention is useful to frictionally engage and store any dental cleaning device having a handle in a hygienic manner.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A toothbrush holder comprising a body member having a front end and a back end; said body member having a rigid geometric shape; said body member comprising at least one holding component which is removably located within the body at the front end of the body and which is adaptable to frictionally engage a tooth brush within the holder.  
     
     
         2 . The holder of  claim 1  wherein the body member is formed from a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, ceramic, wood, metal and mixtures thereof.  
     
     
         3 . The holder of  claim 2  wherein the body member is formed from a plastic material.  
     
     
         4 . The holder of  claim 1  wherein said at least one holding component is located within and extends from at least one recessed surface at the front end of the body member.  
     
     
         5 . The holder of  claim 1  wherein each holding component is located within and extends from a recessed surface at the front end of the body member.  
     
     
         6 . The holder of  claim 5  wherein said body member comprises a plurality of holding components. located within and extending from a plurality of recessed surfaces at the front end of the body member.  
     
     
         7 . The holder of  claim 1  wherein said holding component is formed from a deformable material.  
     
     
         8 . The holder of  claim 7  wherein the deformable material is selected from the group consisting of rubber, foam, an elastomeric polymer and mixtures.  
     
     
         9 . The holder of  claim 8  wherein the deformable material is rubber.  
     
     
         10 . The holder of  claim 7  wherein the deformable material is treated with an antibacterial agent.  
     
     
         11 . A toothbrush holding system comprising a toothbrush and the holder of  claim 1 .  
     
     
         12 . A toothbrush holding system comprising a toothbrush and a holder of of  claim 10 .  
     
     
         13 . A method of storing a toothbrush comprising providing a toothbrush holder of  claim 1  and frictionally engaging a toothbrush within the toothbrush holder.  
     
     
         14 . A method of storing a toothbrush comprising providing a toothbrush holder of  claim 10  and frictionally engaging a toothbrush with the toothbrush holder.  
     
     
         15 . A holding system for a dental cleaning device comprising a dental cleaning device having a handle and the holder of  claim 1 .  
     
     
         16 . A holding system for a dental cleaning device comprising a dental cleaning device having a handle and and a holder of  claim 10 .  
     
     
         17 . A method of storing a dental cleaning device comprising providing a dental cleaning device with a handle and a holder of  claim 1  and frictionally engaging a dental device within the holder.  
     
     
         18 . A method of storing a dental cleaning device comprising providing a dental cleaning device having a handle and the holder of  claim 10  and frictionally engaging the dental cleaning within the holder.
