Abstract

A toothbrush allows the lips to be exfoliated and cleaned while brushing the teeth. The toothbrush has a device that serves to exfoliate the lips while brushing the teeth and gums, eliminating the need for the user to complete both activities separately. The device for exfoliating the lips is connected to the handle of a toothbrush such that when an individual is brushing the teeth and gums, the device contacts the individual's lips. The lip exfoliating device can be bristles, a fabric pad, sponge or other means for exfoliating the skin and can be detachable.
