Abstract

A toilet seat control system which includes a temperature controller that allows a user(s) to easily pre-set the temperature to keep the toilet seat comfortably warm no matter what the ambient temperature. An additional feature includes an adjustable timer which functions to automatically activate a seat lowering mechanism after a timed interval.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

         1 . A toilet seat control system comprising:
 a toilet bowl; a toilet seat having an inner volume, a rear end and an outer surface; said rear end of said toilet seat being hinged to said toilet bowel, whereby said toilet seat can be pivotally moved to a raised position and a lowered position and whereby said toilet seat abuts said toilet bowl in said lowered position; first means for automatically lowering said toilet seat from said raised position after a pre-set time interval; and second means for supplying an adjustable amount of heat to said inner volume of said toilet seat.

         2 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 1 , wherein said first means includes an electronically activated lowering mechanism attached to said toilet seat at said rear end.

         3 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 1 , wherein said first means includes an electronically activated lowering mechanism attached to said toilet seat at said rear end and a control unit for supplying electric power to activate said electronically operated lowering mechanism after said pre-set time interval has elapsed.

         4 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 3 , wherein said control unit includes an adjustable timer for determining said pre-set time interval.

         5 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 1 , wherein said second means includes an array of electric heating coils disposed in said inner volume of said toilet seat.

         6 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 1 , wherein said second means includes an array of electric heating coils disposed in said inner volume of said toilet seat and a control unit for supplying electric power to heat said heating coils.

         7 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 6 , wherein said control unit includes an adjustment member for varying the amount of electric power to said heating coils.

         8 . A toilet seat control system comprising:
 a toilet bowl; a toilet seat having an inner volume, a rear end and an outer surface; said rear end of said toilet seat being hinged to said toilet bowel, whereby said toilet seat can be pivotally moved to a raised position and a lowered position and whereby said toilet seat abuts said toilet bowl in said lowered position; an electronically activated lowering mechanism attached to said toilet seat at said rear end; a wall mounted control unit for supplying electric power to activate said electronically operated lowering mechanism; an adjustable timer disposed on said control unit for determining a pre-set time interval before supplying electric power to activate said electronically operated lowering mechanism; and means for supplying an adjustable amount of heat to said inner volume of said toilet seat.

         9 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 8 , wherein said means includes an array of electric heating coils disposed in said inner volume of said toilet seat.

         10 . A toilet seat control system as recited in  claim 9 , wherein said control unit supplies electric power to heat said heating coils and includes;
 an adjustment member disposed on said control unit for varying the amount of electric power to said heating coils.

         11 . A toilet seat control system as recited in claim 10 , wherein said toilet seat has an outer surface and wherein said outer surface is fabricated from electrically insulated material.
