Canned motor and canned motor pump

Abstract

The present invention relates to a canned motor which can be manufactured more easily to lower a manufacturing cast, and a canned motor pump having such canned motor. The canned motor comprises a stator ( 12 ), a rotor ( 16 ) provided in the stator, and a main shaft ( 14 ) for supporting the rotor. The main shaft comprises a hollow pipe ( 50 ), and plug members ( 52, 54 ) fitted into both ends of the hollow pipe, and the plug members have respective through-holes (52 a , 54 a ).

1 . A canned motor comprising: 
 a stator;    a rotor provided in said stator; and    a main shaft for supporting said rotor, said main shaft comprising: 
 a hollow pipe; and  
 plug members fitted into both ends of said hollow pipe, said plug members having respective through-holes.  
   
     
     
         2 . A canned motor comprising: 
 a stator;    a stator can surrounding said stator hermetically;    a rotor provided in said stator;    a main shaft for supporting said rotor; and    a rotor can surrounding said rotor hermetically;    wherein said rotor can has one end fixed to an outer circumferential surface of said main shaft and the other end fixed to an outer circumferential surfaces of a rotor side plate.    
     
     
         3 . A canned motor comprising: 
 a motor frame;    a stator provided in said motor frame;    a substantially cylindrical stator can surrounding said stator hermetically;    a rotor provided in said stator;    a main shaft for supporting said rotor; and    a rotor can surrounding said rotor hermetically;    wherein said stator can has an open end which is fixedly held by said stator and a bracket provided on an open end of said motor frame, said open end of said stator can being clamped between said stator and said bracket.    
     
     
         4 . A canned motor according to  claim 3 , further comprising an O-ring interposed between said stator and said bracket.  
     
     
         5 . A canned motor pump comprising: 
 a canned motor according to any one of  claims 1  to  4 ;    a pump casing connected to one end of said canned motor; and    an impeller housed in said pump casing and supported by said main shaft of said canned motor.
