Abstract

A safety belt guarding sleeve equipped with a luminous apparatus includes a pliable cover wrapped on a safety belt of a car and a luminous device encased in the pliable cover. The surface of the pliable cover is bonded to a felt layer and has one edge attached to a bonding structure for fastening to the felt. The pliable cover further has a lid to form a housing space with the inner side of the pliable cover for holding a detachable protective member. The luminous device is held, embedded, laid or bonded in the housing space and has a portion exposed outside the pliable cover to project light so that people may see from outside.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A safety belt guarding sleeve equipped with a luminous apparatus, comprising:
a pliable cover wrapped on a safety belt of a car having a bonding structure located on one edge thereof, and at least one luminous device encased in the pliable cover for projecting light outside the pliable cover for people to see from outside.

2 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 1 , wherein the pliable cover has a housing space for holding, embedding, laying, or bonding the luminous device.

3 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 2 , wherein the housing space is formed by a lid covering an inner side of the pliable cover.

4 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 3 , wherein the lid is attached to the pliable cover through a fastening means in a detachable manner.

5 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 4 , wherein the fastening means is a Velcro tape.

6 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 4 , wherein the fastening means are buttons.

7 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 1 , wherein the luminous device includes a luminous panel, a control unit connecting to the luminous panel for controlling lighting of the luminous panel, and a power supply unit connecting to the control unit to supply electric power to the luminous panel.

8 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 7 , wherein the luminous panel is an electroluminescent (EL) panel.

9 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 7 , wherein the luminous panel includes at least one light emitting diode and a light scattering member.

10 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 7 , wherein the control unit includes a control circuit board and a power control switch.

11 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 7 , wherein the power supply unit and the control unit are coupled and mounted onto a dock, the control unit further having a control circuit board and a power control switch which is located on the exterior of the dock.

12 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 3 , wherein the housing space has a protective member.

13 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 12 , wherein the protective member is bonded to the housing space in a detachable manner and has a fastening section.

14 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 1 , wherein the pliable cover has a surface covered by a felt layer.

15 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 9 , wherein the light scattering member is located on the exterior of the pliable cover for holding, embedding, laying, bonding or protecting components of the luminous panel.

16 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 15 further having a slit located between the light scattering member and the pliable cover.

17 . The safety belt guarding sleeve of claim 15 , wherein the light scattering member is made from an elastic and deformable material, and is transparent or printed with characters or patterns.
