Abstract
Workpieces that have various elements for joining in accordance with the prior art often have an undesirable play when in the mounted state or are costly to produce. A workpiece ( 1 ) according to the invention has a recess ( 5 ) that is compressed by means of a plastic deformation, which reduces one dimension or an inner diameter of the workpiece ( 1 ) and thus joins this workpiece ( 1 ) to an inner piece ( 18 ) in a positively and frictionally engaging manner.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A workpiece for mounting, comprised of a plastically deformable material, characterized in that the workpiece ( 1 ) has at least one recess ( 5 ), which, when in the mounted state, is at least partially reduced in size by means of a plastic deformation of the workpiece.
2 . The workpiece according to claim 1 , characterized in that the workpiece ( 1 ) is a tube element ( 21 ) and that the tube element ( 21 ) is mounted onto at least one inner piece ( 18 ) by means of plastic deformation.
3 . The workpiece according to claim 2 , characterized in that the inner piece ( 18 ) is a coil body of an electric machine.
4 . The workpiece according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the workpiece ( 1 ) is a tube element ( 21 ) and that the tube element ( 21 ) serves as a magnetic yoke element for an electric machine.
5 . The workpiece according to claim 1 , characterized in that the recess ( 5 ) is designed to be similar to the shape of a dumbbell.
6 . The workpiece according to claim 1 , characterized in that the workpiece ( 1 ) is made of metal.
7 . The workpiece according to claim 1 , characterized in that the workpiece ( 1 ) is reduced in size in at least one dimension after the plastic deformation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
