Eccentric screw-type pump with spare unit

Abstract

The present invention relates to an eccentric screw-type pump. Due to their contact with the product to be pumped, the rotor and the stator of an eccentric screw-type are subject to a permanent wearing process. As the exchange of corresponding components subject to wear involves down times or requires special tools, the inventive eccentric screw-type pump is provided with a spare unit including, in particular, the stator, the rotor, the shaft, the driving shaft and the seal.

1 . Eccentric screw-type pump ( 10 ) comprising a helical rotor ( 36 ) that rotates in a helical stator chamber as well as a driving shaft ( 16 ) that connects said rotor ( 36 ) to a drive system ( 12 ),  
       characterized in 
 that said driving shaft ( 16 ) is connected to a drive system ( 12 ) or a gear set ( 14 ) via a detachable connection and, after release of the connection, is exchangeable as spare element together with said rotor ( 36 ), said stator ( 38 ), said seal ( 18 ) and possibly one part of the pump casing ( 26 ).  
 
     
     
         2 . Eccentric screw-type pump according to  claim 1 ,  
       characterized in 
 that said stator is connected both fixedly to a first part of said pump casing ( 26 ) and detachably, by means of a quick-action clamping device ( 32 ), to the second part of said pump casing.

       characterized in 
 that said gear set ( 14 ) comprises a hollow shaft relative to which said driving shaft ( 16 ) for said rotor ( 36 ) is fixed by means of a screw ( 30 ).
