Abstract

Screw caps with guarantee strips are known. Usually, such guarantee strips are torn off by means of a tab or the guarantee strip encompasses an edge on the container and all of the predetermined breaking point links are torn in their longitudinal direction when the cap is unscrewed. According to the invention, radially projecting parts are provided on the container or its pouring opening ( 2 ) in the form of positive closing means ( 11, 12 ) which engage in corresponding recesses ( 13, 15 ) of the guarantee strip on the screw cap and prevent mutual twisting. Twisting on the screw cap results in a shearing movement being exerted on the predetermined breaking links ( 6 ), which have little resistance against these forces.

1 . (Amended) In a screw cap ( 1 ) of plastic and a container ( 3 ) of plastic or soft material with a pour-out ( 2 ), wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) has a guarantee strip ( 5 ) arranged on a lower circumferential edge ( 4 ) and connected to a lower edge of a casing wall ( 7 ) of the screw cap ( 1 ) via break-off webs ( 6 ), the improvement comprising: 
 the guarantee strip ( 5 ) being endless and without tabs and the pour-out ( 2 ) having a positive-fit ( 11 ) projecting outwards with respect to a center, which engages in recesses ( 13 ,  14 ,  15 ) of the guarantee strip ( 5 ) so that a rotational movement of the screw cap ( 1 ) effects a shear force on the break-off webs ( 6 ) and the guarantee strip ( 5 ) is sheared from the screw cap ( 1 ).    
     
     
         2 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the recesses ( 13 ,  15 ) in the guarantee strip ( 5 ) pass through the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         3 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 2 , wherein the recessed ( 15 ) in the guarantee strip ( 5 ) have an upper edge flush in a separating plane (T) between the casing wall ( 7 ) and the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         4 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 3 , wherein the positive-fit ( 11 ) on the pour-out ( 2 ) comprises radially outwardly projecting cams ( 12 ).

(Amended) in the screw cap according to  claim 3 , wherein the positive-fit ( 11 ) on the pour-out comprises radially outwardly projecting ribs ( 16 ) arranged running without rear-engagement on an outer side of the pour-out ( 2 ) in an axial direction and extend to one of a flange ( 8 ) of the pour-out ( 2 ) and the container.  
     
     
         6 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 5 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) has a multi-flight fine thread ( 17 ) which engages a corresponding fine thread ( 10 ) on the pour-out ( 2 ), and the positive-fit ( 11 ) on the pour-out has fine toothing ( 14 ) arranged over more than a half of a circumference on the outer side of the pour-out ( 2 ), and a corresponding fine toothing ( 18 ) is on an inner surface of the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         7 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 5 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) and the pour-out ( 2 ) each comprises a fine thread ( 17 ,  10 ) which both fit together and the positive-fit ( 11 ) has at least one rib-like or cam-like ( 12 ,  16 ) element projecting radially on the pour-out ( 2 ) to an outside.  
     
     
         8 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 5 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) and the pour-out ( 2 ) have a single-flight or multi-flight normal thread and on the pour-out ( 2 ) has at least one rib-like or cam-like ( 12 - 16 ) radially projecting element to engage with a positive fit into at least one corresponding recess ( 13 ) in the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         9 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 4 , wherein the positive-fit ( 11 ) is at least one cam ( 12 ) which passes through one of the recesses in the guarantee strip ( 5 ), and the cam ( 12 ) is at least partly engaged behind ( 19 ) by the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         10 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 9 , wherein the casing wall ( 7 ) runs at least approximately perpendicular to a cover surface ( 50 ) of the casing wall ( 7 ) and the guarantee strip ( 5 ) runs subsequently on the cover surface ( 50 ), directed conically outwards.  
     
     
         11 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 6 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) is pressed onto the pour-out ( 2 ) in an axially flush manner without angular positioning.  
     
     
         12 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 7 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) is placed onto the pour-out ( 2 ) in an axially flush manner, is rotated up to an angular position in which the positive-fit ( 11 ) and the recesses ( 13 ) lie over one another in a correct angulaar position, and is subsequently pressed onto the pour-out ( 2 ).  
     
     
         13 . (Amended) In the screw cap according to  claim 8 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) and the pour-out ( 2 ) are orientated to one another in a fixed predefined angular position and in an orientated position are placed onto one another and then the screw cap is pressed onto the closure.  
     
     
         14 . In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the recesses ( 15 ) in the guarantee strip ( 5 ) have an upper edge flush in a separating plane (T) between the casing wall ( 7 ) and the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         15 . In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the positive-fit ( 11 ) on the pour-out ( 2 ) comprises radially outwardly projecting cams ( 12 ).  
     
     
         16 . In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the positive-fit ( 11 ) on the pour-out comprises radially outwardly projecting ribs ( 16 ) arranged running without rear-engagement on an outer side of the pour-out ( 2 ) in an axial direction and extend to one of a flange ( 8 ) of the pour-out ( 2 ) and the container.  
     
     
         17 . In the screw cap according to  claim 16 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) has a multi-flight fine thread ( 17 ) which engages a corresponding fine thread ( 10 ) on the pour-out ( 2 ), and the positive-fit ( 11 ) on the pour-out has fine toothing ( 14 ) arranged over more than a half of a circumference on the outer side of the pour-out ( 2 ), and a corresponding fine toothing ( 18 ) is on an inner surface of the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         18 . In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) and the pour-out ( 2 ) each comprises a fine thread ( 17 ,  10 ) which both fit together and the positive-fit ( 11 ) has at least one rib-like or cam-like ( 12 ,  16 ) element projecting radially on the pour-out ( 2 ) to an outside.  
     
     
         19 . In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the screw cap ( 1 ) and the pour-out ( 2 ) have a single-flight or multi-flight normal thread and on the pour-out ( 2 ) has at least one rib-like or cam-like ( 12 ,  16 ) radially projecting element to engage with a positive fit into at least one corresponding recess ( 13 ) in the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         20 . In the screw cap according to  claim 19 , wherein the positive-fit ( 11 ) is at least one cam ( 12 ) which passes through one of the recesses in the guarantee strip ( 5 ), and the cam ( 12 ) is at least partly engaged behind ( 19 ) by the guarantee strip ( 5 ).  
     
     
         21 . In the screw cap according to  claim 1 , wherein the casing wall ( 7 ) runs at least approximately perpendicular to a cover surface ( 50 ) of the casing wall ( 7 ) and the guarantee strip ( 5 ) runs subsequently on the cover surface ( 50 ), directed conically outwards.
