Container

Abstract

The invention includes a stand. The stand includes a main body comprising a first component and a second component. Each component includes a wall and at least one leg extending from the wall, the leg or legs defining a sliding space. The leg or legs of the second component slide within sliding space of the first component so that the main body expands and contracts as the wall of the first component is moved farther from and closer to, respectively, the wall of the second component.

A stand, comprising: a main body comprising a first component and a second component wherein each component includes a panel and at least one leg extending from the panel, the leg or legs defining a sliding space, wherein leg or legs of the second component move within sliding space of the first component so that the main body expands and contracts as the panel of the first component is moved farther from and closer to, respectively, the panel of the second component.  
     
     
         2 . The stand of  claim 1  wherein each of the first and second components includes two legs.  
     
     
         3 . The stand of  claim 1 , further comprising flanges on each of the panels of the first component and second component, respectively.  
     
     
         4 . The stand of  claim 1 , wherein the main body is made with one or more of cardboard and a polymeric material and a coated material.  
     
     
         5 . The stand of  claim 1 , further comprising finger holes defined by each of the walls of the first component and second component, respectively.  
     
     
         6 . The stand of  claim 1 , further comprising a surface having a greater coefficient of friction than surrounding surfaces.  
     
     
         7 . The stand of  claim 1 , further comprising indicia on the main body.  
     
     
         8 . A kit comprising: the stand of  claim 1  and a container enclosing a bladder containing a liquid, the container including a delivery device, wherein the stand is expanded or contracted to position the container on the stand.  
     
     
         9 . The kit of  claim 8 , wherein the bladder contains wine.  
     
     
         10 . The kit of  claim 8 , wherein the bladder contains a liquid that is susceptible to oxidation.  
     
     
         11 . The kit of  claim 7 , wherein the stand includes indicia providing instruction for assembly and, optionally, use.  
     
     
         12 . The kit of  claim 8 , further comprising beverage receptacles.  
     
     
         13 . A blank, comprising: a central panel and parallel strips distinguished from the central panel by parallel foldlines, wherein each of the strips includes foldlines that enable the strips to be folded into structures having sliding surfaces.  
     
     
         14 . The blank of  claim 13  wherein the blank is foldable so that the blank is flat and in a front view, only the central panel is visible.  
     
     
         15 . A kit, comprising: a first blank of  claim 13  and a second blank of  claim 13;  and a container enclosing a bladder containing a liquid, the container including a delivery device.  
     
     
         16 . The kit of  claim 15 , wherein at least one of the first blank and the second blank include assembly instruction indicia.  
     
     
         17 . The kit of  claim 15 , further comprising liquid receptacles.  
     
     
         18 . A carrier comprising: a main body comprising a first compartment sized to receive a container enclosing a bladder containing liquid, the main body further comprising a second compartment sized to receive and retain beverage containers; and one or more straps for carrying the carrier.
