Collecting container for piece-form products

Abstract

A collecting container for discharging material in piece form in pieces including a device for sealing the discharge opening and for discharging the material in the form of a rotating body in which through openings are provided. The device is disposed inside the collecting container. The through openings of the rotating body can be covered by the discharge opening by rotating the rotating body, thereby allowing the pieces of material to be discharged.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A collecting container for piece-form products, comprising: 
 a collecting container housing having a wall defining a discharge opening;    a device for individually discharging the piece-form products; and    a rotatable body disposed inside said housing and spaced apart from said discharge opening at a given distance, said rotatable body having: 
 an axis of rotation; and  
 at least one through-passage opening; 
 disposed adjacent said axis of rotation; and  
 having a movement path running in front of said discharge opening to temporarily dispose in front of said discharge opening one of said at least one through-passage opening and a section of said rotatable body not having said at least one through-passage passage opening during rotation of said rotatable body.  
 
   
     
     
         2 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said rotatable body has a carry-along element for carrying the piece-form products;    said movement path of said at least one through-passage opening has a lowermost section; and    said discharge opening is located above said lowermost section.    
     
     
         3 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said rotatable body has a carry-along element for carrying the piece-form products;    said movement path of said at least one through-passage opening has a highest section; and    said discharge opening is located adjacent said highest section.    
     
     
         4 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said rotatable body has a border; and    said at least one through-passage opening is a niche in said border.    
     
     
         5 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one through-passage opening is a plurality of through-passage openings all located on the same movement path.  
     
     
         6 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one through-passage opening is a plurality of through-passage openings each located on said movement path.  
     
     
         7 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of said wall and said rotatable body has thermal insulation.  
     
     
         8 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said housing has an interior; and    a heating/cooling configuration for at least one of heating and cooling said interior of said housing is disposed at said housing.    
     
     
         9 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein; 
 said housing has an outside; and    an actuating element is connected to said rotatable body for controlling rotation of said rotatable body and is disposed on said outside in a region of said discharge opening.    
     
     
         10 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , further comprising a control device controlling a rotation of said rotatable body to place said at least one through-passage opening over said discharge opening for a given period of time and, then, further rotating said rotatable body into a position in which said discharge opening is closed by a region of said rotatable body not having said at least one through-passage opening.  
     
     
         11 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , further comprising a means for controlling rotation of said rotatable body to place said at least one through-passage opening over said discharge opening for a given period of time and, then, further rotating said rotatable body into a position in which said discharge opening is closed by a region of said rotatable body not having said at least one through-passage opening.  
     
     
         12 . The collecting container according to  claim 6 , further comprising a control device controlling a rotation of said rotatable body to place a next one of said through-passage openings, as seen in a direction of rotation of said rotatable body, over said discharge opening for a given period of time and, then, to rotate said rotatable body further into a position in which said discharge opening is closed by a region of said rotatable body not having one of said through-passage openings.  
     
     
         13 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein said housing has an outside and a chute on said outside beneath said discharge opening for discharged piece-form products.  
     
     
         14 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said movement path of said rotatable body has a bottom section;    said housing has an interior; and    said interior tapers downward in a region of said bottom section.    
     
     
         15 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said rotatable body has a side directed toward said wall and said side is planar; and    said housing has an inner side opposite said side of said rotatable body and said inner side is planar.    
     
     
         16 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein: 
 said rotatable body has a side directed toward said wall;    said housing has an inner side opposite said side of said rotatable body; and    said inner side and said side are planar.    
     
     
         17 . The collecting container according to  claim 1 , wherein 
 said rotatable body has a side directed toward said wall;    said side is concave;    said housing has an inner side opposite said side of said rotatable body; and    said inner side is convex.    
     
     
         18 . A collecting container for piece-form products, comprising: 
 a collecting container housing having a wall defining a discharge opening;    a device for discharging the piece-form products; and    a rotatable body being at least partially disposed inside said housing and at least partially disposed at said discharge opening, said rotatable body having: 
 an axis of rotation; and  
 at least one through-passage opening disposed on said rotatable body to have a movement path of said at least one through-passage opening running in front of said discharge opening and, during rotation of said rotatable body, temporarily disposing, in front of said discharge opening, one of said at least one through-passage opening and a section of said rotatable body not having said at least one through-passage opening.
