Abstract
Vehicle intended to run on a track line comprising at least two track cables ( 2, A,B,C), the vehicle comprising at least one wheel support ( 3 ) intended to run on each track cable ( 2 ), and a platform ( 16 ) arranged between the wheel supports ( 3 ), each of said wheel support ( 3 ) comprising at least one wheel ( 12 ) to be placed on top of the track cables ( 2 ).

Vehicle intended to run on a track line comprising at least two track cables ( 2 , A, B, C), characterized in that it comprises at least one wheel support ( 3 ) intended to run on each of the track cables ( 2 ), and a platform ( 16 ) arranged between the wheel supports ( 3 ), each comprising at least one wheel ( 12 ) to be placed on top of the track cables ( 2 ).
2 . Vehicle according to claim 1 , characterized in that at least one of the wheel supports ( 3 ) comprises adjustment means ( 8 ) for vertical adjustment of the height of the wheel ( 12 ) with respect to the platform ( 16 ).
3 . Vehicle according to claim 1 , characterized in that a driving means ( 6 ) for moving the vehicle along the track cables ( 2 ).
4 . Vehicle according to claim 1 , characterized in that the driving means ( 6 ) is connected to a separate pull wire, a pull rope or a pull line ( 7 ) which is extending substantially in same direction as the track cables ( 2 ).
5 . Vehicle according to claim 1 , characterized in that each wheel support ( 3 ) comprises at least two wheels ( 12 ) to be placed on the track cables ( 2 ).

Vehicle according to claim 5 , characterized in that each pair of wheels ( 12 , 12 ) is fitted at least on one side plate ( 3 A, 3 B), which side plates ( 3 A, 3 B) are pivotally arranged on said wheel support ( 3 ), rotating around a horizontal shaft ( 9 ) arranged perpendicular with respect to the track cables ( 2 ).
7 . Vehicle according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises at least four wheel supports ( 3 ), where at least two are intended to run on each track cable ( 2 ), each being equipped with means for adjustment in the vertical direction.

Vehicle according to claim 1 , characterized in that the platform ( 16 ) is pivotally arranged on the wheel supports ( 3 ) about an axis parallel with the track cables ( 2 ) at an angle of at least 180°, that the wheel supports ( 3 ) are intended to be realeasably connected to the track cables ( 2 ) in order to facilitate release from a first track cable ( 2 ) and to be connected to a third track cable ( 2 ), running in parallel with the first and the second track cable and having substantially the same distance apart.

System for track cable vehicles to be installed on a structure or construction, comprising a vehicle according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises at least two track cables ( 2 ), which track cables ( 2 ) are fixed at their outer ends and preferably at a number of intermediate anchorages ( 10 ), which intermediate anchorages ( 10 ) comprise a cable support ( 11 ) designed to allow the wheels ( 12 ) on the vehicle ( 1 ) to pass along the track cable over the cable support ( 11 ).
10 . System for track cable vehicles according to claim 9 , characterized in that it comprises a known safety system with associated, parallelly extending safety wires intended to be fixed to a safety harness on an operator.
11 . Method for installing a system for a track cable vehicle according to claim 9 , characterized by
attaching at least one track cable ( 2 ) on to a structure, such as a bridge or a platform; attaching a hoist rope to the free ends of the track cables ( 2 ); pulling the hoist rope and the track cable up to a second point of attachment on the structure and attaching the track cables to said point of attachment; tensioning of the track cables by means of a tensioning means, achieving track cables running in parallel with and at a substantial same level under the structure; hooking a vehicle ( 1 ) on to the track cables by setting at least two of its wheel supports ( 3 ) having pulley wheels ( 12 ) on respective track cables.
12 . Method according to claim 11 , characterized in that use of the vehicle ( 1 ) as a working platform by moving it along the track cables ( 2 ) along the underside of the structure, enabling the operator to attach intermediate anchorages ( 10 ) to the underside of the structure; and
attachment of track cables ( 2 ) to the intermediate anchorage ( 10 ).

Method for transferring a vehicle in a system according to claim 9 in transverse direction of the longitudinal direction of the track cables, the system comprising at least three parallel track cables and in which the vehicle platform is pivotably arranged with respect to the wheel supports around an axis parallel with the track cables at an angle of at least 180°, and in which the wheel supports are releasably connected to the track cables, characterized in releasing the wheel support from the track cable being on the opposite side of the direction of lateral transfer, rotating the platform and the released wheel support towards the first unconnected cable in desired direction, and attaching the wheel support on said third track cable.

Intermediate anchorage ( 10 ), preferably to be used in connection with a cable vehicle system according to claim 9 , comprising an upper attachment point ( 13 ) to be fixed to an overhanging structure, a bow shaped section extending down from the attachment point ( 13 ) to a horizontally arranged shaft ( 18 ) having a cable support ( 11 ) intended to hold and support the lower side of the track cable ( 2 ), characterized in that a ball bearing ( 17 ) arranged on the shaft ( 18 ) and intended to rotate in order to support an elongated wheel support ( 3 , 3 A, 3 B) extending along the track cable ( 2 ) on a vehicle, where the wheel support comprising wheels ( 12 ) rolling on the track cable ( 2 ).

Drive system for a vehicle according to claim 4 , characterized in that at least one crank winch ( 6 ), intended to be connected to a separate pull wire or pull rope/line ( 7 ) running in parallel with the track cable ( 2 ) over a pulley or a wheel on the structure and runs along the track cable ( 2 ) and is attached to the wheel support ( 3 ).
16 . Drive system for a vehicle according to claim 15 , characterized in that the opposite ends of the pull wires ( 7 ) are attached to a corresponding pulley at the opposite end fixture of the track cable ( 2 ) and back towards the crank winch ( 6 ).
17 . Drive system for a vehicle according to claim 16 , characterized in that the pull wires ( 7 ) run from the opposite anchorage via a yoke ( 24 ) on the platform ( 16 ) and preferably under the platform ( 16 ) back to the crank winch ( 6 ).
18 . Drive system according to claim 15 , characterized in that a crank winch ( 6 ) may be moved by means of a horizontally arranged, pivotably arranged support ( 6 ′) rotatably on a shaft on the cradle ( 9 ), thus enabling it to be changed to the end of the vehicle ( 1 ) which preferably is in the direction of motion.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
