Abstract

A protection seam member for suitcase includes a longitudinal body having a braid of reinforcement member and a soft outer layer encloses the reinforcement member. Two extension lips extend from the longitudinal body and a rounded groove is defined in a conjunction portion of each lip and the longitudinal body so that the edges of outer sinks of the suitcase are matched with the grooves.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A protection seam member for suitcase which has outer skins each having an edge, comprising: 
 a longitudinal body having a braid of reinforcement member and a soft outer layer enclosing the reinforcement member, two extension lips extending from the longitudinal body and a rounded groove defined in a conjunction portion of each lip and the longitudinal body, the rounded grooves adapted to be matched with the edges of the suitcase.    
     
     
         2 . The protection seam member as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the groove is defined to be a concave in an outer periphery of the longitudinal body.
