Rapid refilling device for paintball ammunition pods

Abstract

The device shown allows the user of a paintball gun to rapidly and safely refills ammunition pods. The object described is a funnel device that can be quickly and securely inserted into the opening of an ammunition pod or paintball gun hopper. Once installed, the device makes it possible for the user to rapidly and safely pour the paintballs from the bulk packages and refill the pods or hoppers. The device described utilizes a flexible throat, which allows the device to self-adjust to the various sizes of pods.

We claim:  
     
         1 ) A device which, when attached to a paintball ammunition pod, allows the user to rapidly and easily fill said paintball ammunition pod. Said device is comprised of a bowl-shaped funnel, into which said feature the user pours a quantity of paintball projectiles. Said device is further comprised of a means of attachment to a paintball ammunition pod.  
     
     
         2 ) Said means of attachment of the disclosed device is a self-adjusting, multi-segmented insertion neck, which allows the device to self-adjust to the various sizes of pods and provides an outward spring tension, which is sufficient to hold the device securely to the pod while it is in use. Said structure is comprised of a plurality of flexible tines, which are arranged in a radial pattern.
