Abstract
Disposable cigar packaging of the present invention includes a reclosable plastic bag having at last one seam which divides the bag into at least two portions, each portion dimensioned to receive a cigar such that the cigars are held in a spaced apart relationship. According to a presently preferred embodiment, the reclosable plastic bag is a Ziploc type bag and the at least one seam is formed by heat sealing or sonic welding.

a reclosable plastic container having at least one seam dividing the container into at least two portions, each portion dimensioned to receive a cigar such that the cigars are held in spaced apart relation to each other.
2 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein:
the plastic container is a flexible bag.
3 . The container according to claim 2 , wherein:
the flexible bag is a Ziploc type bag.
4 . The container according to claim 2 , wherein:
the bag has a pair of interior fastener strips.
5 . The container according to claim 4 , wherein:
the bag has a pair of interior grip strips adjacent to said fastener strips.
6 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein:
said at least one seam includes at least two seams dividing the container into at least three portions.
7 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein:
said at least one seam is formed by heat sealing.
8 . The container according to claim 1 , wherein:
said at least one seam is formed by sonic welding.
9 . Disposable cigar packaging, comprising:
a reclosable plastic bag having at least one seam dividing the bag into at least two portions, each portion dimensioned to receive a cigar such that the cigars are held in spaced apart relationship.
10 . The packaging according to claim 9 , wherein:
the bag is flexible.
11 . The packaging according to claim 9 , wherein:
the bag is a Ziploc type bag.
12 . The packaging according to claim 9 , wherein:
the bag has a pair of interior fastener strips.
13 . The packaging according to claim 12 , wherein:
the bag has a pair of interior grip strips adjacent to said fastener strips.
14 . The packaging according to claim 9 , wherein:
said at least one seam includes at least two seams dividing the container into at least three portions.

said at least one seam is formed by heat sealing.
16 . The packaging according to claim 9 , wherein:
said at least one seam is formed by sonic welding.
17 . An apparatus for temporarily storing cigars to protect them from a dry atmosphere and to protect them from abrasion, said apparatus comprising:
a reclosable plastic bag having at least one seam dividing the bag into at least two portions, each portion dimensioned to receive a cigar and hold it in spaced apart relation to the other.
18 . The apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein:
said bag is a Ziploc type bag.
19 . The apparatus according to claim 18 , wherein:
said seam is formed by heat sealing.
20 . The apparatus according to claim 18 , wherein:
