Tool box having temporary tool rest base

Abstract

A base having a plurality of recesses defined in an inside thereof and a cover pivotably connected to the base. A receiving portion is located in the tool box and has a plurality of holes which are accessible from outside of the tool box. Tools that are not in use can be inserted in the holes of the receiving portion to prevent from being lost.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A tool box comprising: 
 a base having a plurality of recesses defined in an inside thereof;    a cover pivotably connected to a first side of the base, and    a receiving portion located in the tool box and having a plurality of holes defined in a surface thereof which is accessible from outside of the tool box.    
     
     
         2 . The tool box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the receiving portion extends from the inside of the base and the cover has an opening through which the holes of the receiving portion are accessible.  
     
     
         3 . The tool box as claimed in  claim 1  further comprising a pressing member located at an inside of the cover.  
     
     
         4 . The tool box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the cover includes a transparent board and a magnifying mirror is engaged with the transparent board.  
     
     
         5 . The tool box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the receiving portion extends from an inside of the cover and holes defined in the receiving portion and through the cover.  
     
     
         6 . The tool box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the base  2  has an engaging member on a second side thereof and the cover has a locking piece which is disengageabely connected to the engaging member.
