Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A plumbing fixture having a housing, an installation opening, a line exiting its installation opening, a line routed through the installation opening in the housing of the plumbing fixture, and a quick-connect connector that connects the ends of the two lines arranged outside the housing of the plumbing fixture with one another.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 1 , wherein the quick-connect connector is a plug-in connector.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 1 , wherein the ends of both lines are provided with fittings that may be inserted into the quick-connect connector and may be latched into place there.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 1 , wherein the ends of the lines may be disconnected from the connector without using tools.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 1 , wherein the detenting and latching of the connector and the fittings is generated by deformations of parts of the connector.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 3 , wherein the fittings are soldered.
. A plumbing fixutre according to claim 3 , wherein the fittings are adhesively bonded to the ends of the lines.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 1 , wherein one of the lines to be interconnected is a pipe and the other is a hose.
. A plumbing fixture according to claim 1 , wherein the connector is a monolithic, plastic connector.
. Use of a quick-connect connector for connecting the end of a line exiting an installation opening in a plumbing fixture to the end of a line leading into a plumbing fixture through an installation opening.
. Use according to claim 10 , wherein the both lines are routed through the same installation opening in the housing of a single plumbing fixture.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
