McDowell heel guard

Abstract

The McDowell Heel Guard is a device that is designed to cover the back outer heel area of a shoe, a portian of the side heel areas of a shoe, being the the actual material and the actual heel of the shoe. This device will fit firmly around the conture of the outer back heel of the shoe and portians of the side of the shoe. This device will be held firmly in place by a rubberband acting as a fastener. This device will help prevent serious and perminent damage to the back heel and side heel areas of dress shoes that contain a heel and closed heel shoes (not including sandles, tennis or open heel shoes). It will be made of a soft plastic or silicone material.

What I am claiming as my invention is:  
     
         1 . A device that will be made of a soft plastic or silicone, and has been designed to cover the back portion of the outer-heel area of a shoe (actual material of a shoe), and cover the back portion of the actual heel, as well as the left and right back portion of the heel area of a shoe: 
 This device will help prevent damage from accuring on the backs of shoes (actual material of a shoe), due to constant irritation from rough, harsh, and abrasive surfices. The device will act as a protective shield.    The McDowell Heel Guard is designed to fit mens dress shoes or boots, and/or womens loafers or boots that have enclosed back heel areas.    The claimed McDowell Heel Guard is not designed or created for shoes that do not have heels or slip-ons like a sandle type shoe or slip-ons type shoes that do not have inclosed backs on the heel area.
