Abstract
A method of treating dental carries and remineralizing lesions, provides for directing a stream comprising an oxidizing gas onto a carious lesions for a period of time sufficient to kill microorganisms within the carious lesion; and thereafter, applying to the lesion a remineralization formulation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method of treating dental carries and remineralizing lesions, said method compirsing the steps of:
directing a stream comprising an oxidizing gas onto a carious lesions for a period of time sufficient to kill microorganisms within the carious lesion; and thereafter applying to the lesion a remineralization formulation.
2 . The method according to claim 1 wherein the formulation comprises a zinc salt.
