Abstract

ABSTRACT a inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus consisting of a storage container housing a hose reel unit for coiling, storing, and dispensing a vacuum hose and a faceplate unit used in conjunction with the container to sandwich a prepared surface such as a swimming pool wall, a swimming pool surrounding, a fence or a pool shed providing a means for coiling and dispensing the vacuum hose through the sandwiched surface thereby providing convenient storage and easy access to the vacuum hose.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
Having thus described the invention, what I claimed as new and desired to be secured by Letters Patent is as follows:

         1 . A inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus comprising:
 a container witch a pair of opposing side panels connected to a front panel, a back panel, a top panel and a base panel form said container defining said container interior;    a hose reel rotatably mounted in said container interior for coiling, storing and dispensing of a vacuum hose;    a surface plate providing a sandwiching fastening means to secure said container to a surface in addition to providing access to said container interior.    said container, hose reel, and surface plate are constructed from plastic type material;

         2 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 1  in further combination with said container comprising a detachable panel providing access to said container interior;
 said top panel comprising a aperture for receiving a storage compartment integral with said surface plate;
 said front panel comprising at least one said aperture for receiving said storage compartment;
 a plurality of predetermined locking apertures positioned around outer perimeter of said aperture for receiving a plurality of fasteners to secure said container to said surface;
 said opposing side panels comprising a axle attaching means to receive said axle rotatably securing said hose reel in said container interior;
 said bottom panel comprising a plurality of elongated support members of equal length to support said container horizontally;
 said bottom panel comprising a plurality of holes providing ventilation and drainage to said container interior.

         3 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 1  in further combination with a vacuum hose connector for attaching to said vacuum hose;
 said vacuum hose connector adjusting to fit a plurality of different size diameters;
 a cord connecting said vacuum hose connector to said hose reel thereby connecting said vacuum hose connector attached to said vacuum hose to said hose reel for the purpose of coiling said vacuum hose around said hose reel.

         4 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in claim 4 in further combination with a rotating device attached to said hose reel conveying a rotational means to said hose reel for coiling and dispensing said vacuum hose therefrom.

         6 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in claim 1 in further combination with said surface plate consisting of a predetermined flat shape.

         7 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in claim  6 in further combination with a centered aperture for receiving said vacuum hose;
 said plurality of predetermined fastener apertures positioned around the outer perimeter of said centered aperture to receive said plurality of fasteners securing said surface plate to said surface.

         8 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 6  in further combination with said storage compartment comprised of a predetermined length and a predetermined shape;
 said storage compartment consisting of a hollow interior;

         9 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 8  in further combination with said storage compartment consisting of a open end and a predetermined partially enclosed open end;
 said open end is integral with the center backside of said surface plate having a diameter equal to the diameter of said centered aperture;
 said surface plate said centered aperture having a diameter larger than a stopper attached to said vacuum hose outer end providing for said vacuum hose to move through unrestricted;
 said predetermined partially enclosed open end having a diameter slightly larger than the most commonly used largest said vacuum hoses and smaller than said stopper thereby preventing the passing through of said stopper attached to the outer end of said vacuum hose thereby providing storage and easy access to the outer end of said vacuum hose.

         10 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in claim  6 in further combination with a centered recessed enclosure panel consisting of a predetermined shape larger than the diameter of said centered aperture and is positioned on the front side of said surface plate;
 a enclosure panel being of the same shape and size of said centered recessed enclose panel provides a covering means to enclose said centered aperture.

         11 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in claim 9 in further combination with said stopper constructed out of a stiff yet slightly flexible material having a predetermined thickness consisting of a round shape having a outside diameter slightly less than said centered aperture and a diameter larger than said predetermined partially enclosed open end.

         12 . The in-line swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in claim 2 in further combination with said hose reel comprising a cylinder of predetermined length having a round side guard consisting of a larger diameter attached to each end of said cylinder.

         13 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 7  in further combination with a gasket constructed out of a non abrasive water resistant material being of a flat shape equal in size to said surface plate having said aperture for receiving said storage compartment;
 said plurality of predetermined fastener apertures positioned around said outer perimeter of said aperture to receive said plurality of fasteners securing said gasket between said surface and said surface plate thereby providing a water tight nonabrasive seal.

         14 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 2  in further combination with said surface consisting of one said aperture for receiving said storage compartment;
 said plurality of predetermined apertures positioned around said outer perimeter of said aperture for receiving said plurality of fasteners.

         15 . The inline swimming pool vacuum hose storage apparatus set forth in  claim 13  in further combination with said container positioned on one side of said surface aligned to said surface said aperture and said plurality of predetermined fastener apertures with said gasket positioned on the opposite side of said surface aligned to said surface said aperture and said plurality of predetermined fastener apertures with said surface plate positioned on the opposite side of said gasket aligned to said gasket said aperture and said plurality of predetermined fastener apertures inserting said storage compartment through the aligned said apertures;
 said plurality of fasteners inserted through said surface plate side of aligned said plurality of predetermined fastener apertures are secured in said plurality of predetermined lock apertures sandwiching said surface between said container one side of said surface to said gasket and surface plate aligned on the opposite side of said surface whereby said vacuum hose can be coiled, stored and dispensed through said surface.
