Claims

Abstract

A storage system that is variously adjustably configured so as to provide for a variety of configurations and adaptations to be made based upon the necessities and desires of the user. The basic units of the device include at least two generally triangular shaped braces, a plurality of square shaped tubular rails, and a variety of attachment devices that allow for a variously adjustable tiered storage system with slideable suspension hooks that allow the device to be variously configured and modified without the use of tools.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A system configured for organizing and storing items, said system comprised of: 
 at least two braces, each brace having a wall connection portion, a shelf supporting portion and a bracing portion, said bracing portion further comprising at least one rail receiving bracket, said bracket configured to receive any one of a plurality of rails therein; said wall connection portion configured to connect with a portion of a structural wall, said shelf supporting portion configured to support generally horizontally disposed shelf;    at least one rail, said rail configured to be generally horizontally disposed between pairs of brackets connected to various braces, said rails configured for adjustable connection with any one of a plurality of adaptive devices, said adaptive devices configured to connect with said rails and to hold a selected materials in desired orientations and positions.    
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1  wherein one of said adaptive devices is a hook having a rail connecting portion and at least one prong connected thereto, said prong configured to hold and store an item in a generally vertical orientation.  
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1  wherein one of said adaptive devices is a hook having a rail connecting portion and at least one prong connected thereto, said prong configured to hold and store an item in a generally horizontal orientation.  
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1  wherein one of said adaptive devices is a hook having at least two prongs connected thereto, said prongs extending outward from a rail connecting portion, said hook configured to engage and hold a portion of an item to be stored thereupon.  
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1  wherein one of said adaptive devices is a shelf configured for attachable connection with one of said rails, said shelf having a top surface and a bracing mechanism, said shelf configured for placement upon one of said rails.  
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1  wherein said rails are generally square shaped tubular pieces.  
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 1  wherein said rails are removably adjustable from said brackets so as to allow a variety of selected modifications to occur.  
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 1  wherein said braces, rails and adaptations are coated with a weathering coating.  
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 1  further comprising an angled shelving connector, said angled shelving connector configured to connect a first brace and a second brace and to provide vertical support to a shelf, said angled shelving connector having a lip configured to retain items upon said shelves.  
     
     
         10 . A system configured for organizing and storing items, said system comprised of: 
 at least two braces each brace having a generally vertical wall connection portion, a generally horizontal upper shelving portion, and a generally angled bracing portion, said bracing portion further comprising a plurality of rail receiving brackets, said brackets configured to receive a portion of any one of a plurality of rails therein; said wall connection portion configured for connection with a portion of a structural wall, said upper horizontal shelving portion configured to adaptably hold and connect with a generally horizontally disposed shelf; and    a plurality of rails, each of said rails configured to be generally horizontally disposed between pairs of brackets connected to various opposing braces, said rails configured for stable adjustable connection with any one of a plurality of adaptive devices, said rails, said braces and said adaptive devices configured to form an adjustable multi-level tiered storage system configured to organize and store a variety of materials in a desired location.    
     
     
         11 . The system of  claim 10  wherein one of said adaptations is a hook having a rail connecting portion and at least one prong connected thereto, said prong configured to hold and store an item in a generally vertical orientation.  
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 10  wherein one of said adaptations is a hook having a rail connecting portion and at least one prong connected thereto, said prong configured to hold and store an item in a generally horizontal orientation.  
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 10  wherein one of said adaptations is a hook having at least two prongs connected thereto, said prongs extending outward from a rail connecting portion, said hook configured to engage and hold a portion of an item to be stored thereupon.  
     
     
         14 . The system of  claim 10  wherein one of said adaptations is a shelf configured for attachable connection with one of said rails, said shelf having a top surface and a bracing mechanism, said shelf configured for placement upon one of said rails.  
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 10  wherein said rails are generally square shaped tubular pieces.  
     
     
         16 . The system of  claim 10  wherein said rails are removably adjustable so as to allow a variety of selected modifications to take place.  
     
     
         17 . The system of  claim 10  wherein said braces, rails and adaptations are coated with a weathering coating that prevents damage to the braces, rails, or adaptations.  
     
     
         18 . The system of  claim 10  further comprising a top shelving unit comprised of a top ledge plate, said top ledge plate configured to connect a first brace and a second brace, said top ledge plate also configured to provide vertical support to a shelf, and a generally horizontal retaining support member to said shelf.  
     
     
         19 . A system configured for organizing and storing items, said system comprised of: 
 at least two braces each brace having a generally vertical wall connection portion, a generally horizontal upper shelving portion, and a generally angled bracing portion, said bracing portion further comprising a plurality of rail receiving brackets, said brackets configured to receive a portion of any one of a plurality of rails therein; said wall connection portion configured for connection with a portion of a structural wall, said upper horizontal shelving portion configured to adaptably hold and connect with a generally horizontally disposed shelf, said upper horizontal shelving portion further configured to connect with an angled shelving connector, said angled shelving connector configured to connect a first brace and a second brace, said angled shelving connector also configured to provide vertical support to a shelf, and a generally horizontal retaining support member to said shelf;    a plurality of generally square shaped tubular rails, each of said rails configured to be generally horizontally disposed between pairs of brackets, said brackets connected to various opposing braces, said rails configured for stable adjustable connection with any one of a plurality of adaptive devices, said rails, said braces and said adaptive devices configured to form an adjustable multi-level tiered storage system configured to organize and store a variety of materials in a desired location;    a hook having a rail connecting portion and at least one prong connected thereto, said prong configured to connect with one of said rails and to hold and store an item in a generally vertical orientation;    a hook having a rail connecting portion and at least one prong connected thereto, said prong configured to connect with one of said rails and to hold and store an item in a generally horizontal orientation;    a hook having at least two prongs connected thereto, said prongs extending outward from a rail connecting portion, said rail connecting portion configured to connect with one of said rails, said hook configured to engage and hold a portion of an item to be stored thereupon; and    a shelf configured for attachable connection with at least one of said rails, said shelf having a top surface and a bracing mechanism, said shelf configured for placement upon at least one of said rails.
