Insert for a dish basket for an automatic dishwasher
Abstract
Based on an insert ( 1 ) having insert compartments ( 4, 5, 6 ) separated from one another by separating walls ( 7, 8 ), according to the invention at least two insert compartments ( 4, 5; 5, 6 ) are provided with compartment floors ( 4′, 5′; 5′, 6′ ), arranged in different heights, for loading different silverware pieces ( 2, 3 ) and/or small dishes. Overall, the insert ( 1 ) embodied according to the invention leads to essentially improved drying results compared to conventional solutions for the silverware pieces ( 2, 3 ) and/or small dishes loaded into the insert. The silverware pieces ( 2, 3 ) and/or the small dishes may, depending on their respective length/size/shape, be loaded into the insert compartment ( 4, 5, 6 ) having the corresponding compartment floor ( 4′, 5′, 6′ ), positioned in a suitable height, so that they stand on the compartment floor and are no longer required to be hung. The run-off of drops of dish washing liquid, which otherwise would lead to undesired drying spots, is supported by this easy but effective measure. The hanging, particularly of the small pieces, in the cover causing the above-mentioned run-off problems for drops, is eliminated by the insert compartments ( 4, 5, 6 ) having compartment floors ( 4′, 5′, 6′ ) at various heights.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An insert for a dish basket of an automatic dish washer having insert compartments separated from one another by dividing walls, characterized in that at least two insert compartments ( 4 , 5 ; 5 , 6 ) are provided with compartment floors ( 4 ′, 5 ′; 5 ′, 6 ′) arranged in various heights, for loading different silverware pieces ( 2 , 3 ) and/or small dishes.
2 . The insert according to claim 1 , characterized in that the heights of the compartment floors ( 4 ′, 5 ′; 5 ′, 6 ′) can be adjusted to the length and/or size of the silverware pieces ( 2 , 3 ) and/or the small dishes.
3 . The insert according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the insert compartments ( 4 , 5 ; 5 , 6 ) form a silverware basket ( 1 ) provided with a floor of the silverware basket, adjustable to various usable heights via the compartment floors ( 4 ′, 5 ′; 5 ′, 6 ′).
4 . The insert according to one of claims 1 through 3 , characterized in that it is mounted firmly or movably to the dish basket.
