Abstract

An automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle mainly includes a clamp holder, a main supporting post, a bottom clamping frame, etc.; wherein, the said bottom clamping frame is fixedly clamped to a predetermined position on a handle bar of a bicycle; the bottom end of the main supporting post is positioned onto the said bottom clamping frame; the said clamp holder has a fixed arm and a moveable clamping arm; one end portion of the said fixed arm or the moveable clamping arm for clamping an umbrella handle grip is disposed with a clamping jacket having arcuate clamping planes for increasing the clamping effect.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle comprises at least a clamp holder, a main supporting post, a bottom clamping frame, etc.; wherein, the said bottom clamping frame is fixedly clamping at a predetermined position on the bicycle handle bar while the bottom end of the main supporting post is positioned on the said bottom clamping frame:
the said clamp holder is composed of a fixed arm, a moveable clamping arm and an adjusting bolt; wherein an end portion respectively on the said fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm extends toward each other to form a plurality of branch portions to be penetrated and pivotally jointed by a pivotal shaft; the other side of the said fixed arm is tightly forced and pivotally jointed with the top end of the main supporting post by a positioning branch board extending in a reverse direction; after being cushioned by a spring, the middle segments of the fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm are penetrated by an adjusting bolt for jointing; through the push-against of the said spring, the other ends (the clamping ends) of the said fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm are maintained open under a normal situation; rotating the adjusting bolt to tightly fasten the fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm makes the clamping ends thereof approach each other for facilitating the clamping and holding of the umbrella handle bar.

2 . The present invention of an automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle according to claim 1 , wherein, at least one clamping end respectively on the said fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm is disposed oppositely as a concaved bent portion for increasing the clamping and holding effect.

3 . The present invention of an automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle according to claim 1 , wherein, at least one clamping end on the said fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm is disposed with a clamping jacket having a proper concave and an arcuate plane thereto for increasing the clamping and holding effect.

4 . The present invention of an automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle according to claim 1 , wherein, one end portion of the said adjusting bolt joints an inserted eccentric disk with peripheral rim thereof extended to form a press button; the said press button pivotally rotates the eccentric disk to change the tightly forced state between the fixed arm and the moveable clamping arm and facilitate the pivotal rotation of the adjusting bolt.

5 . The present invention of an automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle according to claim 1 , wherein, the bottom clamping frame comprises an horizontal supporting rod and a sliding seat; two end portions of the said horizontal supporting rod are fixed to the bicycle handle bar; a plurality of adjusting holes are disposed in the middle segment along the axial direction; the sliding seat is inserted onto the horizontal supporting rod; the protruded outer peripheral rim of the said sliding seat is disposed with two corresponding support portions; a retaining tab is pivotally jointed onto the two supporting portions; the said retaining tab has a push tab and at least a bent forked hook respectively protruding outwardly; the exterior side of the sliding seat has a plurality of lateral holes located on the pivotally rotating path of the said forked hook; the retaining tab has a spring inside to enable the forked hook to be inserted into the lateral hole in an initial state; pushing the push tab, the forked hook is retracted from the lateral hole; the other lateral side of the sliding seat is connected to a clamping jacket, the said clamping jacket consists of two opposite curved pieces to form a clamping hole; the moveable end thereof enables a bolt to extend through and be tightly fastened onto a forced rotating button thereby narrowing the clamping hole so as to clamp onto the bottom end of the main supporting.

6 . The present invention of an automatic umbrella holding device on a bicycle according to claim 5 , wherein, two end portions of the said horizontal supporting rod are respectively disposed with a lateral bent portion bent in a proper angle; a plurality of fixed holes are disposed on each lateral bent portion for clamping a plurality of fixed clamping ring with openings onto the handle bar portion of the bicycle; the two opening end portions of the said fixed clamping rings are disposed with outwardly extending portion which has fixed hole thereon for a bolt to penetrate through and be jointed onto the fixed hole of the said lateral bent portion so as to position the said horizontal supporting rod onto the bicycle handle bar.
