Abstract

The spin dip-spin pop is a novelty candy idea that combines two different types of candy which gives a blast of flavor with every dip and spin. The main housing of the spin pop contains a gearing system, power supply, motor and contact switches; the candy pop is comprised of one or more flavors, and a container attached to the lower end of the housing of the spin pop is a clear plastic container that holds one or more flavors of a powdered candy. The clear plastic container can be designed to thread on or snap on to the lower end of the spin pop housing. In use, the container is removed from the main housing to expose the candy powder. The spin pop is activated and the spinning candy pop is dipped into the candy powder to collect some of the candy powder which is then consumed by inserting the spinning candy pop into a person's mouth.
