Abstract
Aluminum foil for use in treating hair is inserted into a dispenser secured to a flat surface by an adhesive strip. The aluminum foil has an elongated central window secured to separate strips of aluminum by adhesive. The foil is dispensed from the dispenser and easily cut off by one hand of a user so as to be conveniently used to treat hair and view the treating process.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . Aluminum foil for treating hair, comprising;
two elongated strips of aluminum foil; and an elongated portion of clear material secured between the elongated strips of aluminum foil to provide a central window in the aluminum foil.
2 . The aluminum foil of claim 1 wherein the aluminum foil with central window is held in a roll and the elongated portion of clear material is a plastic.
3 . The aluminum foil of claim 2 , further including a hollow dispenser for holding the roll.
4 . The aluminum foil of claim 3 wherein the hollow dispenser includes an opening for dispensing the aluminum foil and a cut-off blade for cutting off predetermined lengths.
5 . The aluminum foil of claim 4 , further including an adhesive strip for securing the dispenser to a flat surface.
6 . The aluminum foil of claim 1 wherein the two elongated strips of aluminum foil are between about 2 inches and 2¼ inches wide.
7 . The aluminum foil of claim 6 wherein the central window is between about one-half inch and three-quarters of an inch wide and is made from plastic.
8 . The aluminum foil of claim 7 wherein the aluminum foil with central window is held in a roll and the plastic central material is made from acetate.
9 . The aluminum foil of claim 8 , further including a hollow dispenser for holding the roll.
10 . The aluminum foil of claim 9 wherein the hollow dispenser includes an opening for dispensing the aluminum foil with central window and a cut-off blade for cutting off predetermined lengths.
11 . The aluminum foil of claim 10 , further including an adhesive strip for securing the dispenser to a flat surface.
12 . Aluminum foil for use in treating hair, comprising:
two elongated strips of aluminum foil secured to an elongated, clear central window; and the elongated, clear central window comprised of a plastic material secured to parallel edges of the two elongated strips of aluminum foil by an adhesive.
13 . The aluminum foil of claim 12 wherein the two elongated strips of aluminum foil are between about 2 inches and 2¼ inches wide.
14 . The aluminum foil of claim 13 wherein the elongated, clear central window is between about one-half inch and three-quarters of an inch wide.
15 . The aluminum foil of claim 14 wherein the elongated, clear central window is made from acetate and the aluminum foil is formed in a roll.
16 . The aluminum foil of claim 15 , further including a hollow dispenser, secured to a flat surface by an adhesive strip, for holding the roll.
17 . The aluminum foil of claim 16 wherein the hollow dispenser has a top with an opening formed therein and the roll of aluminum foil is dispensed through the opening and cut off in selected sized lengths by a cut-off blade held in the hollow dispenser.
18 . Aluminum foil for use in treating hair, comprising:
two elongated strips of aluminum foil having parallel side edges; each of the two elongated strips of aluminum foil being between approximately 2 inches and 2¼ inches wide; a transparent strip of acetate secured between the parallel side edges by an adhesive to form an aluminum foil with a transparent central segment; and the transparent central segment being between approximately one-half inch and three-quarters of an inch wide.
19 . The aluminum foil of claim 18 wherein the aluminum foil with transparent window segment is formed in a roll.
20 . The aluminum foil of claim 19 , further including a hollow dispenser having a base, a plurality of sides, a movable top with an opening therein and a cut-off blade; and wherein the roll is inserted and held in an open chamber in the hollow dispenser for dispensing through the opening.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
