Structure having preinstalled utilities and amenities

Abstract

A structure comprising a housing, utilities preinstalled through the housing, and at least one amenity preinstalled to the housing.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A structure comprising: 
 a housing;    at least one utility preinstalled through said housing; and    at least one amenity preinstalled to said housing.    
     
     
         2 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising insulation attached to said housing.  
     
     
         3 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising a replaceable facade covering at least a portion of said housing.  
     
     
         4 . The structure as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein said replaceable facade comprises a plurality of panels attached to said housing.  
     
     
         5 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said housing comprises a frame that is comprised of subframes.  
     
     
         6 . The structure as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein said subframes include at least one of horizontally separated subframes and vertically separated subframes.  
     
     
         7 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said housing comprises at least one integrally molded frame.  
     
     
         8 . The structure as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein said housing further comprises a facade portion integrally molded with said at least one integrally molded frame.  
     
     
         9 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said at least one utility comprise at least one of gas, water, electric, telephone, internet, cable television, wiring and plumbing, and air.  
     
     
         10 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said at least one utility terminate in at least one of an electrical socket, a telephone jack, and a climate control unit.  
     
     
         11 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of said at least one utility originate in at least one common connection origin.  
     
     
         12 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said at least one amenity comprises at least one of a stowable desk, a video display, an armoire, and a closet.  
     
     
         13 . The structure as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising means for dampened mounting of said at least one utility to said housing.  
     
     
         14 . A prefabricated barrier for installation within a structure, said prefabricated barrier comprising: 
 a housing;    a plurality of utilities preinstalled through said housing, said plurality of utilities having at least one common connection origin; and    at least one amenity preinstalled to said housing.    
     
     
         15 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , further comprising an insulation panel attached to said housing.  
     
     
         16 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said housing comprises a replaceable facade.  
     
     
         17 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein said housing further comprises a frame wherein said replaceable facade is attached to said frame and said replaceable facade comprises a plurality of panels attached to said frame.  
     
     
         18 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 17 , wherein said frame comprises at least one assembled structure.  
     
     
         19 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said housing comprises at least one molded unitary structure.  
     
     
         20 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said plurality of utilities comprises at least one of gas, water, electric, telephone, internet, cable television, various wiring and plumbing, and air.  
     
     
         21 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said plurality of utilities comprises a plurality of terminations comprising at least one of an electrical socket, a telephone jack, and a climate control unit.  
     
     
         22 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said at least one common connection origin mates with utility supply lines of a building.  
     
     
         23 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said at least one amenity comprises at least one of a stowable desk, a video display, an armoire, and a closet.  
     
     
         24 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 23 , wherein said at least one amenity is controlled by a remote control device.  
     
     
         25 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said housing comprises at least one molded unitary structure having an integral facade.  
     
     
         26 . The prefabricated barrier as claimed in  claim 14 , further comprising a mounting member mounted intermediate said housing and said plurality of utilities, said mounting member comprising a body portion and link members attaching said body portion to said housing, wherein said mounting member is displaceably mounted to said housing.  
     
     
         27 . A prefabricated wall for installation to a structure, said prefabricated wall comprising: 
 a frame;    a replaceable facade attached to said frame;    an insulation panel attached to said frame substantially opposite said replaceable facade;    a plurality of utilities extending through said frame, said plurality of utilities having at least one common connection origin, said plurality of utilities terminating in a plurality of service connections; and    at least one amenity preinstalled to said housing.    
     
     
         28 . The prefabricated wall as claimed in  claim 27 , wherein said plurality of utilities comprises at least one of gas, water, electric, telephone, internet, cable television, various wiring and plumbing, and air.  
     
     
         29 . The prefabricated wall as claimed in  claim 27 , wherein said at least one amenity comprises at least one of a stowable desk, a video display, an armoire, and a closet.  
     
     
         30 . The prefabricated wall as claimed in  claim 29 , wherein said at least one amenity is controlled by a remote control device.  
     
     
         31 . The prefabricated wall as claimed in  claim 27 , further comprising a mounting member mounted intermediate said frame and said plurality of utilities, said mounting member comprising a body portion and link members attaching said body portion to said frame, wherein said mounting member is displaceably mounted to said housing to provide flexible mounting of said plurality of utilities to said frame.
