Abstract
The SonicDome is a ski hat containing internal headphone speakers. An internal connecting wire drops down from the hat. At the end of that wire is a stereo mini-plug that can connect to most portable listening and viewing devices (CD Walkmans, MP3 players, small TVs). By combining two widely used items—headphones and headgear, the SonicDome will allow the wearer to enjoy music, books on tape, television, etc., while partaking in outdoor activities in cold weather.
