Abstract

An imagination-rendering, organic design construction kit for a child permitting the recurrent, selective assembly and disassembly of imaginary scenes, situations, objects, creatures and personalities. Different ones of the assembly components provided in the kit of the invention are characterized variously by solid color, by translucency, by transparency and by surface ornamentation. Interconnect structures provided in the kit of the invention enables different assembly modalities, including interference interfitment, as well as tethering, banding, snaring, clinging, stitching and skewering.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
We claim:

1 . An imagination-rendering, organic design construction kit comprising
plural, organic design elements, including design elements individually having dominant qualities of amorphous visual ambiguity, and possessing flowing and generally non-angular curvilinearity, and physical shapes and visual appearances, organically combinable with one another to create imaginary, three-dimensional surrogates of real-life objects, scenes, situations, creatures and personalities, and free-form uniting structures cooperative with and between said elements to effect joinder-combinations of two or more elements in differentiated manners, said structures promoting and enabling joinder modalities including interference interfitment, as well as tethering, banding, snaring, clinging, stitching and skewering.

2 . An imagination-rendering organic design construction kit for the recurrent, selective assembly and disassembly of imaginary, staged scenes, objects, situations, creatures and personalities comprising
plural, organic, design-embodying construction kit components, variously characterized by differentiated shapes, colors, surface-ornamentation, light opacity and light translucency, and each configured for free, detachable joinder to at least one other of said components through relative sliding interfitment of both an interference and a noninterference character, with noninterference interfitment including effective tethering, banding, snaring, clinging, stitching and skewering, and interfitment establishing structures operable to join said components, said structures including (a) slots in selected ones of said components, and (b) respective, independent, elongate tethering, banding, snaring, stitching and skewering elements.

         3 . A spatial-illusion, imagination-rendering, design-expression kit comprising
plural, differentiated-form, design-expression components, including organic design-expression components, characterized largely by non-angular edge and omni-profile curvilinearity, and variously by color, transparency, translucency, and opaqueness, said components having individual, respective, outer-surface configurations whereby different pairs of the components, when brought together in a combining context, directly suggest, cooperatively, a familiar visual subject, and interconnect structures operatively associated and associable with said components for the purpose of disconnectively assembling plural selected ones of the components to form stylized surrogates of imagined creatures, personalities, objects, scenes, and situations; with said interconnect structures including elements and configurations which enable joining of at least two of said components via interconnection modalities which include interference interfitment, tethering, banding, snaring, clinging, stitching and skewering, and wherein said interconnection structures themselves are designed to become, selectively, visible contributors directly to aspects of the created, stylized surrogates.
