Claims

Abstract

In an actuation device for a friction clutch which is arranged in the drivetrain of a motor vehicle between a drive unit and a transmission, comprising a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement by means of which the friction clutch can be actuated via a release member, a measuring arrangement which detects an actual release, a control/regulating valve arrangement which is connected with a pressure medium source, with a pressure compensation opening or a pressure compensation reservoir and with the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement and which is controllable electrically, by means of which valve arrangement the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement can be actuated depending on the actual release and on a reference release which can be predetermined, the control/regulating valve arrangement can be actuated via control/regulating electronics depending on the actual release, on an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line converting the command variable into the reference release, wherein several different characteristic lines are provided which can be selectively activated depending on a desired driving behavior and/or depending on driving states and/or operating states of the vehicle for actuating the valve arrangement.

We claim:  
     
         1 . An actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission, said actuation device comprising: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement having a release member for actuating said friction clutch;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a pressure medium source;    a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being electrically controllable; and    a control regulating electronics unit operative to actuate said control/regulating valve arrangement for actuating said pressure medium force cylinder depending on an actual release movement and on a predeterminable reference release, the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable, and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.    
     
     
         2 . An actuation device according to  claim 1 , wherein said group of plural characteristic lines includes at least one of a startup characteristic line and a maneuvering characteristic line, each said line having a spread slip point.  
     
     
         3 . An actuation device according to  claim 1 , wherein said group of plural characteristic lines includes at least one of an upshift characteristic line and a downshift characteristic line, said characteristic lines being without a spread slip point thereby to minimize slip states of the friction clutch with respect to time.  
     
     
         4 . An actuation device according to  claim 1 , and further comprising a selector switch manually operative to select at least one of said characteristic lines.  
     
     
         5 . An actuation device according to  claim 1 , comprising means for detecting at least one of a driving status and an operating state, said detecting means selecting between the plural characteristic lines in order to activate a characteristic line associated with the said detected one of a driving status and an operating state.  
     
     
         6 . An actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a housing cover in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission, said actuation device comprising: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement arranged in the housing cover, said pressure medium force cylinder including a ring cylinder, and a release member for actuating said friction clutch;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a pressure medium source;    a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being operated for actuating said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement depending on an actual release movement and on a reference release which can be predetermined;    a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space;    connection means for connecting said ring cylinder space with said control/regulating valve arrangement; and    said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, a fastening region by which said constructional unit is fastened at said ring cylinder, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and said fastening region.    
     
     
         7 . An actuation device according to  claim 6 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is embodied in the heat-sensitive region of the constructional unit.  
     
     
         8 . An actuation device according to claimi  7 , wherein the measuring arrangement is embodied in a part of the constructional unit located between the fastening region and the separating layer.  
     
     
         9 . An actuation device according to  claim 6  wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is embodied in the heat-sensitive region of the constructional unit, at least said heat-sensitive region projecting outwardly of an opening in said housing cover.  
     
     
         10 . An actuation device according to  claim 9 , wherein said housing cover includes a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having a surrounding wall portion, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion.  
     
     
         11 . An actuation device according to  claim 10 , wherein the constructional unit is arranged in said housing cover such that the thermal separating layer is located proximal said opening.  
     
     
         12 . An actuation device according to  claim 6 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release movement producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.  
     
     
         13 . An actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a housing cover in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission, said actuating unit comprising: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement arranged in the housing cover, said pressure medium force cylinder including a ring cylinder, and a release member for actuating said friction clutch;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a pressure medium source;    a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being operated for actuating said pressure force medium cylinder arrangement depending on an actual release movement and on a reference release which can be predetermined;    a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space;    connection means for connecting said ring cylinder space with said control/regulating valve arrangement; and    said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, said control/regulating valve arrangement being embodied in said heat-sensitive region, said housing cover including a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall part, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion, said heat-sensitive region of said constructional unit projecting outwardly of said housing cover opening.    
     
     
         14 . An actuation device according to  claim 13 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.  
     
     
         15 . An actuation device according to  claim 13 , wherein a thermal separating layer is arranged between said heat-sensitive region of the constructional unit and said fastening region of said constructional unit.  
     
     
         16 . An actuation device according to  claim 13 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state, and wherein a thermal separating layer is arranged between said heat-sensitive region of said constructional unit and said fastening region of said constructional unit.  
     
     
         17 . An actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a housing cover in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission, said actuation device comprising: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement arranged in the housing cover, said pressure medium force cylinder including a ring cylinder, and a release member for actuating said friction clutch;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a pressure medium source;    a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being operated for actuating said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement depending on an actual release movement and on a reference release which can be determined;    a first constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space, said ring cylinder space being connected to said control/regulating valve arrangement with at least one constructional unit connection;    a second constructional unit including said control/regulating valve arrangement arranged at an outer side of said housing cover, and    at least one connection conduit and at least one electric cable connecting the first constructional unit with said second constructional unit.    
     
     
         18 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein the measuring arrangement is embodied in said first-mentioned constructional unit.  
     
     
         19 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.  
     
     
         20 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein said another constructional unit includes a heat-sensitive region, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and a fastening region of said another constructional unit by which said another constructional unit is fastenable at said outer side of said housing cover.  
     
     
         21 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein said another constructional unit includes a heat-sensitive region, said housing cover includes a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall portion, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion, said heat-sensitive region projecting outwardly of said opening.  
     
     
         22 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein said control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state, wherein said another constructional unit includes a heat-sensitive region, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and a fastening region by which said another constructional unit is fastenable at said outer side of said housing cover, and wherein said housing cover includes a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall portion, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion said heat-sensitive region projecting outwardly of said opening.  
     
     
         23 . An actuation device according to  claim 1 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement comprises a proportional solenoid valve.  
     
     
         24 . An actuation device according to  claim 6 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement comprises a proportional solenoid valve.  
     
     
         25 . An actuation device according to  claim 13 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement comprises a proportional solenoid valve.  
     
     
         26 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement comprises a proportional solenoid valve.  
     
     
         27 . An actuation device according to  claim 1 , wherein the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement is a pneumatic force cylinder arrangement.  
     
     
         28 . An actuation device according to  claim 6 , wherein the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement is a pneumatic force cylinder arrangement.  
     
     
         29 . An actuation device according to  claim 13 , wherein the pressure force cylinder arrangement is a pneumatic force cylinder arrangement.  
     
     
         30 . An actuation device according to  claim 17 , wherein the pressure force cylinder arrangement is a pneumatic force cylinder arrangement.  
     
     
         31 . A set of components for actuation of a motor vehicle drivetrain friction clutch: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement which is selected from a group of at least two pressure medium force cylinders of different types, the pressure medium force cylinder including a release member for actuating the clutch, and a ring cylinder, the ring cylinder having a space therein and said ring cylinder further having a connecting and fastening area serving as a fastening interface;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a control/regulating valve arrangement connectable to a pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being operated for actuating said pressure force cylinder arrangement depending on an actual release movement and on a reference release which can be predetermined; and    a constructional unit which is selected from a group of at least two constructional units of different types arranged at the ring cylinder of the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, the constructional unit having a connecting and fastening area interface cooperative with the ring cylinder fastening interface for detachably fastening said constructional unit at said ring cylinder, the ring cylinder space being connected with said control/regulating valve arrangement with one of a connector and a connecting and fastening adapter associated with the constructional unit.    
     
     
         32 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein the pressure medium force ring cylinder includes at least one fastening pin engageable with at least one of an associated constructional unit and a connecting and fastening adapter.  
     
     
         33 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein the pressure medium ring cylinder has at least one inlet/outlet nipple engageable with at least one of the constructional unit and a connecting and fastening adapter by which the ring cylinder space can be connected to the control/regulating valve arrangement.  
     
     
         34 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein the constructional unit embodies the measuring arrangement therein, the ring cylinder including a ring piston of the pressure medium force cylinder, said measuring arrangement being engageable with said ring piston to detect said actual release movement.  
     
     
         35 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31  wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is embodied in said constructional unit.  
     
     
         36 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein the constructional unit embodies both the control/regulating valve arrangement and the measuring arrangement therein, the ring cylinder including a ring piston of the pressure medium force cylinder, said measuring arrangement being engageable with said ring piston to detect said actual release movement.  
     
     
         37 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein each constructional unit in the group of constructional units has an electric connection and a pressure medium connection, the electric connection and pressure medium connection of at least one constructional unit in the group being different than the electric connection and pressure medium connection of at least one other constructional unit.  
     
     
         38 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein at least one of the construction units in the group of construction units has an external configuration which is different from the external configuration of at least one other constructional unit in the group.  
     
     
         39 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , wherein at least one of the constructional units in said group of constructional units includes a heat-sensitive area and a connecting and fastening area, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive layer and said connecting and fastening area.  
     
     
         40 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 31 , comprising at least one separate valve constructional unit arrangeable at an outer side of a housing cover of the motor vehicle drivetrain, said control/regulating valve arrangement being embodied in said separate valve constructional unit, at least one of the constructional units in said group of constructional units being associated with said separate valve constructional unit, at least one of a connection line, a hose line and a pipe line, and at least one electric connection cable connecting said at least one constructional unit with said separate valve constructional unit.  
     
     
         41 . A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 40 , wherein said separate valve constructional unit is one which is selected from a group of separate valve constructional units of different types.  
     
     
         42 . An actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission, said actuation device comprising: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement having a release member for actuating said friction clutch;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a pressure medium source; and    a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being electrically controllable, said control/regulating valve arrangement being operated for actuating said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement depending on an actual release movement and on a reference release which can be predetermined; said control/regulating valve arrangement including a valve, said valve being operable in a mode associated with a clutch engagement actuation as well as clutch release actuation, said valve having a first valve connection connected with the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, a second valve connection connected with the pressure source, and a third valve connection which is connected with said one of said pressure compensation opening and said pressure compensation reservoir, said valve being changeable from a valve state connecting the first and second valve connections to a valve state connecting the first and third valve connections.    
     
     
         43 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein said valve is changeable to a valve state in which the first valve connection is not connected with either of said second and third valve connections.  
     
     
         44 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein valve state change is effected with electric control.  
     
     
         45 . An actuation device according to  claim 43 , wherein valve state change is effected with electric control.  
     
     
         46 . An actuation device according to  claim 45 , wherein the valve occupies a determined valve state without electric control, said first valve connection not being connected with either of said second and third valve connections in said determined valve state.  
     
     
         47 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein said valve is a proportional solenoid valve.  
     
     
         48 . An actuation valve according to  claim 42 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement includes only one valve.  
     
     
         49 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein said valve and said measuring arrangement are embodied in a common unit arranged at a ring cylinder of said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement.  
     
     
         50 . An actuation device according to  claim 49 , wherein said common unit includes a pressure medium connection detachably connectable with the pressure medium source.  
     
     
         51 . An actuation device according to  claim 49 , wherein said common unit includes a pressure medium connection detachably connectable with at least one of said pressure compensation opening and said pressure compensation reservoir.  
     
     
         52 . An actuation device according to  claim 50 , wherein said the pressure compensation opening is in said detachably connectable connection.  
     
     
         53 . An actuation device according to  claim 49 , wherein the common unit includes at least one of electric power supply connections and control connections comprising at least one electric plug-in connector.  
     
     
         54 . An actuation device according to  claim 53 , wherein the plug-in connector is arranged at one of a connection cable and connection cable tree which is guided out of the common unit and includes a plurality of connection lines.  
     
     
         55 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.  
     
     
         56 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space, connection means for connecting said ring cylinder space with said valve, said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, a fastening region by which said constructional unit is fastenable at said ring cylinder, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and said fastening region.  
     
     
         57 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein said pressure medium force cylinder is arranged in a housing cover and includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, said control/regulating valve arrangement being embodied in said heat-sensitive region, said housing cover including a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall part, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion, said heat-sensitive region of said constructional unit projecting outwardly of said housing cover opening  
     
     
         58 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein said pressure medium force cylinder is arranged in a housing cover and includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space, said ring cylinder space being connected to said control/regulating vale arrangement with at least one constructional unit connection, another constructional unit embodying said control/regulating valve arrangement arranged at an outer side of said housing cover, at at least one connection conduit and at least one electric cable connecting the first-mentioned constructional unit with said another constructional unit.  
     
     
         59 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein 
 the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state, wherein 
 said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement is arranged in a housing cover and includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, a fastening region by which said constructional unit is fastenable at said ring cylinder, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and said fastening region, said control/regulating valve arrangement being embodied in said heat-sensitive region, and wherein 
 said housing cover includes a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall part, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion, said heat-sensitive region of said constructional unit projecting outwardly of said housing cover opening.  
 
   
     
     
         60 . An actuation device according to  claim 42 , wherein 
 the control regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state, wherein 
 said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement is arranged in a housing cover and includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space, said ring cylinder space being connected to said control/regulating valve with at least one constructional unit connection, and wherein 
 another constructional unit embodying said control/regulating valve arrangement being arranged at an outer side of said housing cover, and at least one connection conduit and at least one electric cable connecting the first-mentioned constructional unit with said another constructional unit.  
 
   
     
     
         61 . An actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission, said actuating device comprising: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement arranged in a housing cover and having a release member for actuating said friction clutch;    a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;    a pressure medium source; and    a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a pressure compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being electrically controllable, said control/regulating valve arrangement being operated for actuating said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement depending on an actual release movement and on a reference release which can be predetermined;    said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement including a release piston which comprises the release member, said release piston acting directly on a release bearing of said friction clutch.    
     
     
         62 . An actuation device according to  claim 60 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release and on a characteristic line converting an electrically presettable command variable into the reference release.  
     
     
         63 . An actuation device according to  claim 60 , wherein the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.  
     
     
         64 . An actuation device according to  claim 60 , wherein said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, a fastening region by which said constructional unit is fastenable at said ring cylinder, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and said fastening region.  
     
     
         65 . An actuation device according to  claim 60 , wherein said pressure medium force cylinder includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, said control/regulating valve arrangement being embodied in said heat-sensitive region, said housing cover including a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall part, said opening being disposed at an inner portion of said surrounding wall portion, said heat-sensitive region of said constructional unit projecting outwardly of said housing cover opening.  
     
     
         66 . An actuation unit according to  claim 60 , wherein said pressure medium force cylinder includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space, said ring cylinder space being connected to said control/regulating valve arrangement with at least one constructional unit connection, another constructional unit embodying said control/regulating valve arrangement arranged at an outer side of said housing cover, at least one connection conduit and at least one electric cable connecting the first-mentioned constructional unit to said another constructional unit.  
     
     
         67 . An actuation unit according to  claim 60 , wherein 
 the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state, wherein 
 said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement includes a ring cylinder, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said constructional unit including a heat-sensitive region, a fastening region by which said constructional unit is fastenable at said ring cylinder, and a thermal separating layer arranged between said heat-sensitive region and said fastening region, said control/regulating valve arrangement being embodied in said heat-sensitive region, and wherein 
 said housing cover includes a wall, said wall including a recessed wall part, said recessed wall part having an opening and a surrounding wall part, said opening being disposed at an inner end portion of said surrounding wall portion, said heat-sensitive region of said constructional unit projecting outwardly of said housing cover opening.  
 
   
     
     
         68 . An actuation device according to  claim 60 , wherein 
 the control/regulating valve arrangement is actuated with a control regulating electronics unit depending on the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state, wherein 
 said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement includes a cylinder ring, a constructional unit arranged at said ring cylinder, said ring cylinder having a space, said ring cylinder space being connected to said control/regulating valve with at least one constructional unit connection, and wherein 
 another constructional unit embodying said control/regulating valve arrangement being arranged at an outer side of said housing cover, and at least one connection conduit and at least one electric cable connecting the first-mentioned constructional unit with said another constructional unit.

A friction clutch actuation device components set according to  claim 42  wherein at least one pressure medium force cylinder of said group of pressure medium force cylinders, and at least one constructional unit of said group of constructional units, and at least one valve constructional unit is useable in an actuation device for a friction clutch arranged in a motor vehicle drivetrain between a drive unit and a transmission and which actuation device comprises: 
 a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement having a release member for actuating said friction clutch;  
 a measuring arrangement for detecting an actual release movement of said release member;  
 a pressure medium source;  
 a control/regulating valve arrangement connected to said pressure medium source, one of a compensation opening and a pressure compensation reservoir, and with said pressure medium force cylinder arrangement, said control/regulating valve arrangement being electrically controllable; and  
 a control regulating electronics unit operative for actuating said pressure medium force cylinder depending on an actual release movement and on a predeterminable reference release, the actual release producing an electrically presettable command variable, and on a characteristic line selected from a group of plural different characteristic lines defining at least one of a desired driving behavior, a driving state, and a vehicle operating state.
