Abstract
A tear thread opening device disposed on a sealed fold line of an envelope or any other paper maid container. The tear thread is threaded along a chosen fold line of the envelope using traditional sewing techniques. The ends of the tear thread are lightly glued into the body of the envelope. In a second embodiment, the chosen fold line of the envelope or other paper maid container is only perforated and the tear thread is attached along the inside edge of the chosen fold line. In both embodiments ends of the thread must be lightly glued in to perforated fold line. If necessarily each end of injected into fold line tear thread could be attached to a small plastic tab, which would be located inside or outside overlapping closure flap. Grasping the tab or the corner of the envelope where the extremity of tear thread is glued, and pulling upward could easily open the envelope or any other paper maid container. This action will cause the tear thread to tear thru the fold line thereby easily opening the envelope or any paper maid container.
