Abstract

Recombinant antibody constructs comprise the variable regions of the heavy and light chains of anti-G D2 antibodies. These antibody constructs may be coupled to a label such as a radiolabel or to a protein such as streptavidin or pro-drug converting enzymes for use in imaging or therapeutic applications. The antibody constructs may also be transduced into T cells to produce populations of T cells which target G D2 -producing tumor cells.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A recombinant single chain polynucleotide comprising a region encoding the variable region of the light chain of an anti-G D2 antibody linked to a region encoding the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-G D2 antibody.

. The recombinant polynucleotide of claim 1 , further comprising a region encoding an additional protein.

. The recombinant polynucleotide of claim 1 , wherein the additional protein is streptavidin.

. The recombinant polynucleotide of claim 1 , wherein the additional protein is a drug-converting enzyme.

. A recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-G D2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-G D2 antibody.

. The peptide according to claim 5 , wherein the peptide is labeled with a radiolabel.

. The peptide according to claim 6 , wherein the radiolabel is 99m Tc.

. The peptide according to claim 5 , wherein the peptide further comprises a drug-converting enzyme.

. The peptide according to claim 5 , wherein the peptide further comprises streptavidin.

. The peptide according to claim 5 , wherein the peptide further comprises CD8.

. T cells expressing a recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-G D2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-G D2 antibody.

. A method for assaying for the presence of cells expressing G D2 in tissue comprising combining the tissue with a recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-G D2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-G D2 antibody and a detectable label.

. A method for targeted delivery of a therapeutic agent to cells expressing G D2 in tissue comprising combining the tissue with a recombinant single chain peptide comprising the variable region of the light chain of an anti-G D2 antibody linked to the variable region of the heavy chain of an anti-G D2 antibody and a therapeutic or pre-therapeutic moiety.

. The method according to claim 13 , wherein the pre-therapeutic moiety is a pro-drug converting enzyme.

. The method according to claim 13 , wherein the pre-therapeutic moiety is streptavidin.

. The method according to claim 13 wherein the therapeutic moiety is a toxin.
