Steam-cleaning appliance

Abstract

A steam-cleaning appliance of the invention comprises a housing in which a water storage chamber, a pump, and a steam device are mounted. The pump pumps cold water from the water storage chamber and delivers cold water to the steam device. The steam device includes a water-flowing path and a heating unit that heats water flowing through the water-flowing path. Cold water pumped by the pump penetrates into the water-flowing path via a water inlet to be heated. The increasingly heated water is sputtered into steam through a steam pipe to a nozzle of the steam-cleaning appliance.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A steam-cleaning appliance comprising: 
 a housing, including a water storage chamber and a pump mounted therein, the water storage chamber receiving cold water, and the pump being connected to the water storage chamber via a pipe to pump cold water; and    a steam device, mounted within the housing, the steam device including a water-flowing path and a heating unit that is placed vis-a-vis the water-flowing path, wherein the water-flowing path further includes a water inlet that is connected to the pump via a pipe, and a water outlet through which cold water after being heated is sputtered into steam to a steam pipe connected to the water outlet, the steam pipe delivering steam to a nozzle, thereby a steam path is achieved to reduce the steam formation time while the pump allows the user to control the steam amount and the steam flow for ensuring a safe use.    
     
     
         2 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein a multi-state controller is further mounted onto the nozzle to control a turn on/off of the pump.  
     
     
         3 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein a temperature sensor is further mounted at the location of the water inlet to control the turn on/off of the heating unit.  
     
     
         4 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the water-flowing path and the heating unit are U-shaped and mounted to each other according to an opposite superposition.  
     
     
         5 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the heating unit is an electro-heating pipe.  
     
     
         6 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein a removable cover is further mounted on the water storage chamber to allow the user to refill water therein.  
     
     
         7 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein a principal switch is further mounted onto the housing to control a switch of an electrical connection to a power supply.  
     
     
         8 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the steam device further includes a casing that encloses the water-flowing path and the heating unit, the casing being externally covered with a thermal isolating element.  
     
     
         9 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the housing further includes a positioning support mounted therein to support the pump.  
     
     
         10 . The steam-cleaning appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the housing further includes a positioning pedestal mounted therein to support the steam device.
