Device for the release and removal of a toilet paper roll spindle

Abstract

In most existing toilet paper dispensers a person must compress the spindle by grasping it and pushing, or pulling, to compress it within itself, in order to remove the empty toilet paper roll. This invention uses a rod or plunger that compresses the spring loaded spindle and permits easier access and removal of the empty toilet paper roll.

1 . I claim this invention is a toilet paper dispenser which consists of a spring loaded spindle suspended between two mounts.  
     
     
         2 . I claim in accordance with  claim 1 , that there is incorporated therein a blunt rod, or plunger, which can be installed in either of the spindle mounts.  
     
     
         3 . I claim in accordance with  claim 2 , that when this rod/plunger is depressed inward, the spring loaded spindle is compressed to the point that it swings clear of the mount, and allows the toilet paper roll to be removed.
