Abstract

A moving protective cover for a residential or commercial air register that directs airflow into an interior space.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A cover for an air register, comprising: 
 a substantially ridged planar surface that covers a commercial or residential air register, having a hinge means that permits the raising or lowering of said cover, depending upon air flow from said register.    
     
     
         2 . The invention of  claim 1  wherein said cover employs the use of a magnetic means to ensure an even contact seal on the air register when in a closed position.  
     
     
         3 . The invention of  claim 1  wherein said cover employs the use of an adhesive means to ensure an even contact seal on the air register when in a closed position.  
     
     
         4 . The invention of  claim 1  wherein said cover is constructed of a flexible material.
