Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel integrin α E subunit and its functional equivalents. The invention further includes pharmaceutical compositions containing the isolated peptides, oligonucleotides encoding the peptides, vectors containing the oligonucleotides, and cell lines transfected with the vectors.
