Wrought-iron fence

Abstract

A wrought-iron fence is constructed to include two end posts, two first flat rails and two second flat rails respectively connected between the end posts at different elevations, a plurality of pickets sandwiched in between the first flat rails and the second flat rails and arranged in parallel between the end posts, and screw bolts installed in respective mounting holes on horizontal lugs of the end posts and respective mounting holes on the flat rails and the pickets and screwed up with a respective nut to fix the flat rails to the end posts and the pickets to the flat rails.

What the invention claimed is:  
     
         1 . A wrought-iron fence comprising: 
 two end posts arranged in parallel, said end posts each having two horizontal lugs disposed at different elevations, said horizontal lugs each having an oblong mounting hole;    two first flat rails respectively connected to the lugs of said end posts at a front side at different elevations, said first flat rails each having a plurality of mounting holes;    two second flat rails respectively connected to the lugs of said end posts at a back side at different elevations, said second flat rails each having a plurality of mounting holes;    a plurality of pickets sandwiched in between said first flat rails and said second flat rails and arranged in parallel between said end posts, said pickets each having an upper mounting hole and a lower mounting hole;    a plurality of screw bolts respectively installed in the mounting holes of said first flat rails, the mounting holes of said horizontal lugs, the mounting holes of said pickets, and the mounting holes of said second flat rails; and    a plurality of nuts respectively fastened to said screw bolts to secure said first flat rails and said second flat rails to the horizontal lugs of said end posts and said pickets to said first flat rails and said second flat rails.    
     
     
         2 . The wrought-iron fence as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the mounting holes of said first flat rails are rectangular mounting holes, and said screw bolts each having a rectangular shoulder respectively fitted into the rectangular mounting holes of said first flat rails.
