Abstract

A support base of a liquid crystal display includes a stationary part, a rotational part, an axial joint part and a catch device. A resilient device can be selectively joined to the support base. A lock jut can selectively move in a rotary recess for angular adjustment or engage with lock recess to make the liquid crystal display being parallel to the lower base during the rotational part rotating with the locating plate.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A support base of a liquid crystal display, comprising:
a stationary part, being a frame attached to a lower base and having an axial hole at a top thereof; a rotational part, being a frame also, having a transverse plate joined to the liquid crystal display, and perpendicularly extending an end plate with a locating hole at two ends thereof respectively; an axial joint part, having a stem with at least a milled plane passing through the axial hole and the locating hole and having an engaging end to connect with an urging piece; and a catch device, being composed of a locating plate and a retaining piece, the locating plate being passed through with the stem and fixedly attached to a side of the end plate and proving at least a radial rotary recess and a lock recess disposed circumferentially, and the retaining piece being passed through with the stem also and being fixed at an end of the stem with at least a lock jut facing the locating plate; whereby, the lock jut can selectively move in the rotary recess for angular adjustment or engage with lock recess to make the liquid crystal display being parallel to the lower base during the rotational part rotating with the locating plate.

2 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 1 , wherein a resilient device can be provided between the catch-device and the urging piece.

3 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 3 , wherein the resilient device can be a set of disk springs, a coil spring or any equivalent solid spring.

4 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 1 , wherein the end plate has at least one or more engaging holes and the locating plate has corresponding engaging projections for the end plate and locating plate being coupled to each other.

5 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 1 , wherein the lock jut at an inner side thereof has a recess for offering a proper flexibility.

6 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 1 , wherein an anti-wear ring with grease holes or grooves is arranged between the stationary part and the end plate.

7 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 1 , wherein the stationary part at a top thereof has an arctic rim with a front stopper and a rear stopper and the rotational part at an intersection of the transverse plate and the end plate thereof has a stop projection to keep contact with the arctic rim to be limited by the front and the rear stopper during rotating.

8 . A support base of a liquid crystal display, comprising:
a stationary part, being a frame attached to a lower base, having at least a lock recess and a rotary recess vertically disposed at a top thereof and having an axial hole at the top; a rotating shaft, having a stem with a milled plane passing through the axial hole at an end thereof, the stem having an engaging end for connecting with an urging piece, providing a support end at another end thereof for being fixedly joined to the liquid crystal display; and a retaining piece, being disposed at an end of the stationary part, passed through by the stem and moving with the stem with at least a lock jut facing the stationary part; whereby, the lock jut can selectively move in the rotary recess for angular adjustment or engage with lock recess to make the liquid crystal display being parallel to the lower base during the rotating shaft rotating with the retaining piece.

9 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 8 , wherein the stationary part at the lock recess and the rotary recess vertically disposed at a top thereof further provides a locating plate fixedly attached to an end of the stationary part.

10 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 9 , wherein the stationary part has at least one or more engaging holes and the locating plate has corresponding engaging projections for the stationary part and the locating plate being coupled to each other.

11 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 8 or 9 , wherein a resilient device can be provided between the retaining piece and the urging piece.

12 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 11 , wherein the resilient device can be a set of disk springs, a coil spring or any equivalent solid spring.

13 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 8 or 9 , wherein the lock jut at an inner side thereof has a recess for offering a proper flexibility.

14 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 8 , wherein an anti-wear ring with grease holes or grooves is arranged between the stationary part and the rotating shaft.

15 . The support base of a liquid crystal display as defined in claim 9 , wherein the stationary part at a top thereof has an arctic rim with a front stopper and a rear stopper and the rotating shaft fits with a limit plate, the limit plate rotating with the rotating shaft and extending laterally a side projection to keep contact with the arctic rim and to be limited by the front and the rear stopper during rotating.
