Abstract

The invention relates to a clamp clip comprising two clamping arms ( 2 ) which form a clamping mouth ( 1 ), consist of hard synthetic material and have clamping jaws ( 3 ) on one end. A workpiece can be clamped and held between said jaws. Said arms can he pivoted around an axle ( 4 ) and continue on in the form of handle arms ( 5 ) beyond the axle ( 4 ). Said handle arms form handle zones ( 6 ) that can be encompassed by the hand of an operator. In an advantageous embodiment, use is facilitated by means of the handle zones ( 6 ) which are provided with a layer ( 7 ) of soft synthetic material.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A clamp clip comprising two clamping arms ( 2 ) which form a clamping mouth ( 1 ), are made of hard synthetic material, carry clamping jaws ( 3 ), clamping a workpiece in between them, at the ends, can be pivoted about a pin ( 4 ) and, on the far side of the pin ( 4 ), continue into handle arms ( 5 ) which form handle zones ( 6 ) which can be gripped by an operator's hand, characterized in that the handle zones ( 6 ) have a soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ).

2 . The clamp clip as claimed in claim 1 , characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ) extends beyond the free ends of the outwardly curved handle arms ( 5 ).

3 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ) extends beyond the pin ( 4 ).

4 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ) forms a saddle ( 8 ) which is located on the handle arms directly behind the pin.

5 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the saddles ( 8 ) associated with each of the two handle arms ( 5 ) are located directly opposite one another and form a gripping depression.

6 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ) is attached by adhesive bonding.

7 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ) is attached by injection molding.

8 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating is connected over its surface area to a base ( 9 ) by means of ultrasonic welding.

9 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that, for the surface-area connection, protrusions ( 10 ), which have their diameter increased toward the free end by melting, are positioned in openings.

10 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ) is confined to the outwardly oriented, curved handle zone ( 6 ) and the hollows of the two handle arms ( 5 ), which are formed by the curvature, are directed toward one another.

11 . The clamp clip as claimed in one or more of the preceding claims or in particular as claimed therein, characterized in that the soft synthetic material coating ( 7 ), as it is attached by injection molding, fuses with the synthetic material of the handle zone ( 6 ).
