Abstract

A putter head for golf putter formed of a copper sole, a putter head body molded from zinc/aluminum alloy on the sole, and a face panel fixedly fastened to the front side of the putter head body, the sole having a thin middle part, two thick side parts disposed at two sides of said thinner middle part, top recesses in the thin middle part and the thick side parts, and upright locating rods in the top recesses, the top recesses and the upright locating rods each having a sloping peripheral wall for positive bonding of the sole body.

What the invention claimed is:  
     
         1 . A putter head for golf putter comprising a sole, a putter head body molded from metal on said sole, and a face panel fixedly fastened to a front side of said putter head body, wherein said sole comprises a thin middle part, two thick side parts disposed at two sides of said thinner middle part, at least one top recess in at least one of said thin middle part and said thick side parts, and at least one upright locating rod in each of said at least one top recess, said at least one top recess and said at least one upright locating rod each having a sloping peripheral wall.
