Method for manufacturing a bag
Abstract
The invention relates to a bag with a bag body consisting of four bag walls, onto which two first wide bag walls lie on top of one another and two second narrower bag walls are each folded over congruently onto themselves to the center in a line along their longitudinal edges, and in which one end of the bag body is sealed by a bag floor and which forms a bag opening at the other end of the bag body; as well as an unsealed bag seal on a bag opening adjoining the bag body; in which the bag seal consists of two first sealing flaps respectively laid out on top of and adjoining the first bag walls, and two second sealing flaps adjoining the second bag walls, folded over respectively onto themselves at the center in a line with the fold of the second bag walls; and in which at the respective ends of the first sealing flaps first gussets, and at the ends of the second sealing flaps second gussets are specified, and directly adjacent first and second gussets lie respectively on top of one another with their inner surfaces and are glued or heat-sealed together to form double layered sealing corners.

A bag ( 51 )—in a compressed flat configuration set for transportation prior to the opening and filling processes—with a bag body ( 50 ) consisting of four bag walls, onto which two first wide bag walls ( 41 ) lie congruently on top of one another, and two second narrower bag walls ( 42 ) are folded over respectively onto themselves at the centre, in a line along their longitudinal edge, and which is sealed at one end of the bag body ( 50 ) by a bag floor ( 49 ) and forms a bag opening ( 55 ) at the other end of the bag body ( 50 ), as well as an unsealed bag seal ( 48 ) adjoining a bag opening ( 55 ) on the bag body ( 50 ), characterised in that the bag seal ( 48 ) consists of two first sealing flaps ( 21 ) adjoining the first bag walls ( 41 ) lying on top of one another, and two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) adjoining the second bag walls ( 42 ) folded over respectively onto themselves at the centre in a line of the fold of the second bag walls ( 42 ), in which first gussets ( 23 ) on the ends of the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and second gussets ( 24 ) on the ends of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) are specified, and directly adjoining first and second gussets with their inner surfaces lie respectively on top of one another and are glued or heat-sealed together to form double layered sealing corners ( 47 ) (FIG. 1, FIG. 2).

A bag according to claim 1 , characterised in that a demarcation edge of the first gussets ( 23 ) is formed by the joint line ( 18 ) of the respective first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and that a congruent demarcation edge of the second gussets ( 24 ) runs at right angles to the relief longitudinal edge of the respective second sealing flaps, in which the congruent demarcation edges run parallel to the linear bag opening ( 55 ) after the folding process of the bag seal (FIG. 2).

A bag according to claim 1 , characterised in that the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) including their gussets ( 23 , 24 ) are each demarcated by a common folding edge ( 25 ), which emanate from the joint lines ( 18 ) of the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) on the bag body at an angle of 45° to these joint lines ( 18 ) (FIG. 1).
4 . A bag according to claim 1 , characterised in that the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) including their gussets ( 23 , 24 ) are each demarcated by gussets (sealing flaps) ( 27 , 28 ), which emanate from the joint lines ( 18 ) of the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) on the bag body (FIG. 2).
5 . A bag according to claim 1 , characterised in that the second bag walls ( 42 ) and the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) are folded inwards between the perimeter areas of the first bag walls ( 41 ) (FIG. 4 d ).
6 . A bag according to claim 1 , characterised in that the second bag walls ( 42 ) and the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) are folded outwards lying beyond the perimeter areas of the first bag walls ( 41 ) (FIG. 4 c ).
7 . A bag according to claim 1 , characterised in that the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) are together folded on the plane with the first bag walls laid on top of one another ( 41 ) (FIG. 4 c ).
8 . A bag ( 51 )—in a configuration set for filling—with a bag floor ( 49 ), a bag body ( 50 ) consisting of four bag walls ( 41 , 42 ) emanating from the bag floor ( 49 ) of essentially rectangular cross section, as well as an unsealed bag seal ( 48 ) adjoin the bag body ( 50 ), in which a joint line ( 18 ) between bag body ( 50 ) and bag in that two first sealing flaps ( 21 ) adjoining the opposing two first bag walls ( 41 ) stand outwards at right angles away from the bag body ( 50 ) on a plane with the bag opening ( 55 ), that the two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) of the second bag seal adjoining the opposing two second bag walls ( 42 ), are turned inwards at right angles onto the bag body ( 50 ) on a plane with the bag opening ( 52 ), and that gussets ( 24 ) on the ends of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) lie on the gussets ( 24 ) on the ends of the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and are connected to these to form double layered sealing corners ( 47 ), so that the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) connected together by the sealing corners ( 47 ) form a sealing collar ( 56 ).
9 . A bag according to claim 8 , characterised in that the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) interlock one another and are demarcated by a common folding edge ( 25 ) (FIG. 1).
10 . A bag according to claim 8 , characterised in that the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) have transverse edges formed by respective incisions ( 26 ) in the initial material ( 111 ).
11 . A bag ( 51 ) in filled and partially sealed configuration with a bag floor ( 49 ), a bag body ( 50 ) consisting of four bag walls ( 41 , 42 ) emanating from the bag floor ( 49 ) of essentially rectangular cross section, as well as an unsealed bag seal ( 48 ) adjoining the bag body ( 50 ), in which a joint line ( 18 ) between bag body ( 50 ) and bag seal ( 48 ) defines the bag opening ( 55 ), characterised in that the two first sealing flaps ( 21 ) of the bag seal adjoining the opposing two first bag walls ( 41 ), stand outwards at right angles away from the bag body ( 50 ) on a plane with the bag opening ( 55 ), that the two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) of the bag seal adjoining the opposing two second bag walls ( 42 ) are folded over inwards at right angles onto the bag body ( 50 ) on a plane with the bag opening ( 55 ), and that gussets ( 24 ) on the ends of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) lie on the gussets ( 23 ) on the ends of the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and are connected to these to form double layered sealing corners ( 47 ), so that the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) connected by the sealing corners ( 47 ) together form a sealing collar ( 56 ), and that a cover sheet ( 59 ) is laid out on the sealing collar ( 56 ) and which is connected circumferentially to the first and second sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ).
12 . A bag according to claim 11 , characterised in that the sealing strips ( 62 ) are designed on the relief longitudinal edges of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ), which are folder over away from the bag opening plane, and that a cover sheet ( 59 ′) is laid out on the bag opening ( 55 ), which lies with its side edges on the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and is connected to these, and which is designed with sealing edges ( 63 ) on the ends, which in particular stand off from the sheet plane and which are connected to the previously mentioned sealing strips ( 62 ) of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ).

A bag ( 51 )—in filled and sealed configuration—with a bag floor ( 49 ), a bag body ( 50 ) consisting of four bag walls emanating from the bag floor ( 49 ) of essentially rectangular cross section, as well as a bag seal ( 49 ) adjoining the bag body ( 50 ), in which an upper joint line ( 18 ) defines the boundary between bag body ( 50 ) and sealed bag seal ( 48 ), characterised in that the two first sealing flaps ( 21 ) of the bag seal ( 49 ) adjoin the opposing two first bag walls ( 41 ), which are folded over inwards onto the bag cross section and overlap in the form of a bag fold and are connected to one another, and that the two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) of the bag seal ( 49 ) adjoining the opposing two second bag walls ( 42 ), are folded inwards under the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) at right angles onto the bag body ( 50 ) on a plane with the bag opening ( 55 ), and that gussets ( 24 ) on the ends of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) are laid together onto the gussets ( 23 ) on the ends of the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and which are connected to these to form double layered sealing corners ( 47 ).

A bag ( 51 )—in filled and sealed configuration—with a bag floor ( 49 ), a bag body ( 50 ) consisting of four bag walls emanating from the bag floor ( 49 ) of an essentially rectangular cross section, as well as a bag seal ( 49 ) adjoining the bag body ( 50 ), in which an upper joint line ( 18 ) of the bag body ( 50 ) defines the sealed bag opening ( 55 ), characterised in that the two first sealing flaps ( 21 ) of the bag seal ( 49 ) adjoining the opposing two first bag walls ( 41 ), with inner surfaces seam sealed onto one another and connected together, and that the two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) of the bag seal adjoining the opposing two second bag walls ( 42 ), are folded over inwards under the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) at right angles onto the bag body ( 50 ) on a plane with the bag opening ( 55 ), and that gussets ( 24 ) on the ends of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ) are laid out together onto the gussets ( 23 ) on the ends of the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) and are connected to these to form double layered sealing corners ( 47 ).
15 . A method of manufacturing a bag ( 51 ) made of paper, in which—commencing with an essentially rectangular pre-cut sheet ( 11 ) in a flat laid out displayed state—a strip-like adhesive deposit ( 16 ) is affixed on one transverse edge ( 15 ), which upon subsequent folding over of the pre-cut sheet ( 11 ) parallel to the transverse edges by overlapping a sealing strip ( 46 ) is defined to form a flat bag body open at both ends, that four gusset-shaped adhesive deposits are affixed to a longitudinal edge ( 12 ) running vertical to the above mentioned transverse edge ( 15 ) on a bag seal ( 48 ), which is separated from the bag body ( 50 ) by a joint line ( 18 ), and which upon subsequent turning over onto one another of sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) of the bag seal, form sealing corners ( 47 ), in which the turning over to form the bag body is carried out, and subsequent measures of the usual type to create a bag floor ( 49 ) are carried out, and at the same time as creating the floor ( 49 ) a laying out on top of one another and connecting together of four corner areas of the bag seal ( 48 ) in the area of the gusset-shaped adhesive deposits is carried out, in which on the pre-cut sheet ( 11 ) on the same side, gussets ( 23 , 24 ) comes to lie on one another on the ends of the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) and together form double layered sealing corners ( 47 ).
16 . A method of manufacturing a bag ( 51 ) made of heat-sealable synthetic foil, in which commencing with an essentially rectangular pre-cut sheet ( 11 )—a turning over of the pre-cut sheet ( 11 ) parallel to the transverse edges ( 14 , 15 ) is performed, in which strip-like overlapping areas are heat-sealed together, and a sealing strip ( 46 ) to create a flat bag body open at both ends, and that subsequent measures of the usual kind to create a bag floor ( 49 ) are performed, and that at the same time as creating the floor, along joint lines ( 18 ) running vertical to the transverse edges ( 14 , 15 ) and between a bag body ( 50 ) and a bag seal ( 48 ), four gusset-shaped overlapping areas are formed, in which surfaces lying on the same side on the pre-cut sheet come to lie on one another, and gusset surfaces ( 23 , 24 ) which are demarcated by said joint line ( 18 ) and are connected together to from double layered sealing corners ( 47 ).
17 . A method according to claim 15 or 16 , characterised in that the sealing area defined by said joint line ( 18 ) remains undivided and the laying on top of one another and connecting together is carried out by folding along a folding edge ( 25 ), which creates an angle of 45° to the separating line ( 18 ) (FIG. 1).

A method according to claims 15 or 16 , characterised in that the sealing area defined by said joint line ( 18 ) is designed with incisions ( 26 ) up to the dividing line in four locations, and the laying on top of one another and connecting together is carried out in the gusset area adjacent to these incisions ( 26 ) (FIG. 2).
19 . A method for filling and sealing a bag according to claim 25 following herebelow, in which, with flared open bag opening ( 55 ) and the sealing collar ( 56 ) laid on a horizontal plane, this is brought into sealing position with a circumferential filling nozzle, then filling product is introduced into the bag and subsequently the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) are folded over inwards and connected to one another.
20 . A method according to claim 19 , characterised in that after introducing the filling product into the bag, that a cover sheet ( 59 ) is laid out on the sealing collar ( 56 ) and circumferentially connected to the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ), before the first sealing flaps ( 21 ) are folded inwards and connected to one another.
21 . A method according to claim 20 , characterised in that the cover sheet ( 59 ) is glued or heat-sealed with all the sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) whilst laid out flat onto the sealing collar ( 56 ).

A method according to claim 20 , characterised in that the relief longitudinal edges of the two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) are folded over standing off from the bag opening plane to form sealing strips ( 62 ), that the cover sheet ( 59 ) is connected along its side edges to the first sealing flaps ( 21 ), and connected along its transverse edges to the sealing strips ( 62 ) of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ).
23 . A method according to claim 20 , characterised in that double banded sealing strips ( 68 ) are affixed to the relief long edges of the two second sealing flaps ( 22 ) to form sealing strips ( 62 ) standing away from the bag opening plane, and that the cover sheet ( 59 ) is connected along its side edges to the first sealing flaps ( 21 ), and connected along its transverse edges to the sealing strips ( 62 ) of the second sealing flaps ( 22 ).
24 . A method according to claim 20 , characterized in that the relief longitudinal edges of both second sealing flaps ( 22 ) comprise sealing strips ( 62 ) which are supported on their free reverse side when connecting them to the cover sheet ( 59 ).

A bag for filling with a filling product with a rectangular cross sectioned, flared open bag body ( 10 ) consisting of two wider, first and two narrower second bag walls ( 1 , 2 ), a bag floor ( 9 ) sealed onto the bottom of the bag body ( 10 ); a bag opening ( 15 ) demarcated at the top of the bag body ( 10 ), characterised in that first sealing flaps ( 21 ), which stand off outwards at right angles to the first bag walls ( 41 ) of the bag opening ( 15 ), and second sealing flaps ( 22 ), which respectively adjoin the second bag walls ( 42 ) and are folded inwards onto the bag opening, so that the first and second sealing flaps ( 21 , 22 ) create a frame shaped sealing collar ( 56 ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
