Double cup separable into upper and lower sections

Abstract

A double cup capable of containing snacks and drinks in a separate manner is provided so as to allow consumers to enjoy snacks and drinks at the same time. The double cup is divided into an upper section and a lower section through an auxiliary member having a drinking straw insertion portion, and the auxiliary member is a disk having a tapered outer periphery or an auxiliary cup having a shape same as that of the main cup. The auxiliary member is an auxiliary cup having a recess of a predetermined shape formed at the side surface of the auxiliary member, and the auxiliary cup has a stopper formed along an outer periphery of the top of the auxiliary cup in such a manner that an outer periphery of the auxiliary cup excluding the recess contacts an inner periphery of the main cup when inserted into the main cup, and the stopper is disposed onto the top of the main cup. The space defined between the main cup and the recess of the auxiliary cup forms a drinking straw insertion portion.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A double cup comprising a main cup separable into an upper section and a lower section through an auxiliary member having a drinking straw insertion portion.  
     
     
         2 . A double cup according to  claim 1 , wherein said auxiliary member is a disk having a predetermined thickness and outer periphery tapered so as to contact an inner periphery of said main cup at a predetermined height, and said disk has a hole for insertion of a drinking straw.  
     
     
         3 . A double cup according to  claim 2 , wherein said hole formed at the disk has a drinking straw guide rod which is hollow and formed from an upper surface of said disk inserted into said main cup, to a height reaching an entrance of said main cup.  
     
     
         4 . A double cup according to  claim 1 , wherein said auxiliary member is an auxiliary cup having a shape same as that of said main cup.  
     
     
         5 . A double cup according to  claim 4 , wherein said auxiliary cup has a recess formed at an outer periphery of a lower surface of said auxiliary cup such that said auxiliary cup is coupled to the upper portion of said main cup through said recess.  
     
     
         6 . A double cup according to  claim 4 , wherein said auxiliary cup has a stopper formed along an upper outer periphery of said auxiliary cup, such that said auxiliary cup contacts an inner periphery of said main cup when inserted into said main cup and said stopper is disposed onto a top of said main cup.  
     
     
         7 . A double cup according to  claim 6 , wherein said drinking straw insertion portion of said auxiliary cup is a drinking straw guide rod which is hollow and protruded from a bottom surface of said auxiliary cup to a height at least same as a height of said auxiliary cup.

A double cup according to  claim 1 , wherein said auxiliary member is an auxiliary cup having a recess of a predetermined shape formed at a side surface of said auxiliary member, and said auxiliary cup has a stopper formed along an outer periphery of a top of said auxiliary cup in such a manner that an outer periphery of said auxiliary cup excluding said recess contacts an inner periphery of said main cup when inserted into said main cup and said stopper is disposed onto the top of said main cup, and a space defined between said main cup and said recess of said auxiliary cup forms a drinking straw insertion portion.  
     
     
         9 . A double cup according to  claim 1 , wherein said auxiliary member is an auxiliary cup having a stopper formed along an outer periphery of a top of said auxiliary cup and a recess formed at both side surfaces of said auxiliary cup, and an outer periphery of said auxiliary cup excluding said recess contacts an inner periphery of said main cup when inserted into said main cup and said stopper is disposed onto the top of said main cup, and said drinking straw insertion portion is formed of two holes formed at said stopper of said auxiliary cup.
