Abstract
Disclosed herein is a the present invention which relates to a new Romaine (Cos) Lactuca sativa cultivar designated Green Forest, which exhibits resistance to lettuce drop and tipburn, a leaf color of Value 3 Chroma 4 Hue 7.5 GY according to the Munsel Color Chart for Plant Tissues and weighs about 4.7% more than the comparable varieties of Romaine Lettuce.
