Abstract

A device to automatically seal the legs of quartered poultry, continuously and automatically, especially a device to seal both legs of the body of the fowl, or any of the legs, whether separated or not, of the latter based on a tape or strip of laminar plastic or laminar metal material supplied continuously and intermittently by a roll that supplies the material.

1 . An apparatus to seal automatically sloughter poultry legs, specially to seal at least one poultry leg starting from a laminar plastic material or laminar metallic strap or strip proceeding from a supplier pair of rollers who are operating by an electric motor of intermittent operation. Characterized because comprehend a supporting frame of an horizontal disposed cylinder, inside it remains mounted a vacuum piston in alternative disposed form in response to pneumatic solicitation means, which presents an access mouth disposed in the same plane related with the cylinder open extreme, being mounted in correspondence with the piston access mouth to a poultry leg extreme and a supporting plaquette provided with a rod which extends through the piston and cylinder bottom, and in its opposing extreme is related in its opposing extreme in the plaquette fixation to a command organ of pneumatic solicitation means, boundering the refered passage which extends starting from a cylinder extreme in order to bound an annular space of a wide lightly larger than the aforesaid tape being the annular space in its lower part disposed tangentiallly related with the frame transversal passage through which is feeded the aforesaid tape by the refered rollers being placed in the frame under the piston a vertical lodge diametrally disposed, related to the aforesaid cylinder and piston which outlet in the annular passage, being mounted in the aforesaid lodge a tape nailing device arised from the supplier rollers, which possess and extreme provided with prongs opposing to the tape lower side and its opposed extreme connected to pneumatic driving means pointing out the aforesaid frame in a point of its tape feeding transversal passage, a cut cutter apparted from the tape span in the annular passage, remaining the nailing device in response to the poultry leg supporting plaquette displacement and further piston retreat related to the extreme cutted tape for its placement against a point of the aforesaid located in diametrally opposed form and against a fixing and welding device mounted in the cylinder extreme to form a ringed seal around the poultry tibia leg, placed over the supporting plaquette and sideway to the nailing device displaced course.

According with the Vindication  1 , is an apparatus Characterized, because the aforesaid vacuum piston is mounted inside the refered cylinder in counterpart to a coaxily disposed spring to the piston and mounted between the bottom piston and the cylinder bottom, being at the same time, the aforesaid supporting plaquette of the leg extreme to be sealed, mounted inside the piston and adjacently to the mouth and provided by a rod which is coaxil to the piston, who lay across the bottom piston and the cylinder being in the aforesaid plaquette opposed to a second spring, also coaxil to the rod and to piston first solicitation spring, remaining the second spring mounted between the cylinder bottom an and annular rod projection, being the plaquette rod extreme opposed to the fixed at the last in correspondence with a command organ of a pressure air supplier circuit which comprehend electro-valves to connect the aforesaid circuit with the cylinder inside in order to produce the piston backward and the tape nailing device displacement in response to the leg support, over the aforesaid support plaquette, being the refered piston provided in its rebate extreme annular length, which is extending starting from its free extreme to bound with the cylinder internal surface at the tape annular passage coming from the supplier rollers and is extended through the frame passage being mounted the cutter of the supplier tape in an intermission point passage motioned by a pneumatic cylinder feeded by an air supplier circuit through the refered electro-valves and remaining mounted in a diametrally opossed form to the nailing device in correspondence with the cylinder skirt opening a welding device to form in the tape span further in the annular passage a sealer in double ring form, to sorround the respective poultry legs with support over the plaquette fastening to the driver rod of the command organ of the supplier air pressure circuit.

According vindication  2  is an apparatus characterized, because the aforesaid tape arised in the tape supplier rollers outlet tangentially in the refered passage or annular groove bounded by the annular and length rebate of the piston and the aforesaid cylinder extending the tape in the rebate to sorround perimetrally the piston in a way that its free extreme surpass the tangential entry area of the mentioned groove to remain overputting to its rear span cutted by the cutter placed in the frame passage, forming a ring around the legs tibia to be seal with responsing to piston set back, remaining the cutted tape overput portions opposing to the refered nailing device, which answering to the command organ driver of air supply circuit fixing and dragging the aforesaid portions in course to the welding device, and forming two semi-rings which respectivally sorround the poultry legs in an inviolable seal way.

According to vindication  2  and  3  is an apparatus characterized: because the aforesaid frame is constituted by a pair of front and rear pillars over which are fixedly supported the cylinder presenting the front pillar sideway, the aforesaid tape supplier passage provided by a wide mouth in order to addresing the tape inside the passage being in an intermission point of the refered pillar, the cutter tape attached, is mounted to a piston lodged in a small cylinder in communication through a transversal flute where a cutter is displaced, being the small cylinder in communication with the air pressure circuit (for its sequencial driving) with the piston and the tape nailing device addresing the welding device.

According to vindication  1  and  2  is an apparatus characterized because the nailing device mounted in the lodge who outlet in the annular passage bounded by the piston and the cylinder is constituted by a plaquette who works like a piston which presents in its upper extreme nailing prongs from the ringed tape addresed diametrally to the piston, being the aforesaid plaquette springly supported against a piece underly disposed in the aforesaid lodge who presents a bias in the sideway surface confronted output to an air pressure supplier (to displace sequencially the plaquettes with the piston and the tape cutter organ).

According to vindication  2  is an apparatus characterized because the tape parts of the welding device to form the semi-rings in a sealer way comprehend a teflon sheet with perforations in correspondence with the nailing device prongs of superpose portions of the ring formed with the aforesaid tape in the annular groove, being for the sheet in contact with the electric resistance for its warning.

According to vindications  2  to  6  is an apparatus characterized because the aforesaid air pressure circuit comprehend electro-valves commanded by the refered driver mean, in response to its contact with the piston extreme rod, to the supplier air pressure through the circuit, to the air outlet connectors, which are in communication with the piston, the cutter organ and the pushing and dragging device in the under part of the ring.

According to vindication  1  is an apparatus characterized bacuse the aforesaid vacuum piston is upperly open and posess under a length in a way of thicken supporting floor for any of the legs separated or not from the poultry body with a conformed bevel in its front extreme for legs displacement, the supporting leg plaquette is mounted in opposing and adjacent form toward the piston extreme being the plaquette provided by a sideway heel to place the leg laterally to the plaquette and presenting the aforesaid a minor section than the piston vacuum free section, being the plaquette anexed to a rod excentrically disposed to the piston which extends upperly the piston floor in order to cross the cylinder rear part and remaining bonded to a first pneumatic device with activation sensor organs of air pressure supplier circuit in response to the contact with the rod extreme of the plaquette by pressure and pushing the plaquette by the leg, the piston is bonded to a second rod concentric to the aforesaid, which goes through the cylinder bottom to be connected to a second pneumatic device, the refered nailing device is mounted at a vertical lodging which outlet in the aforesaid cylinder against an under flat rebate of the piston hickening and present a lengthly groove to prongs transient logde of the nailing device, the last is actionable by a third pneumatic device which includes a pair of electro-valves to sequential displacement of nailing device between the tape enclave placement against the piston flat rebate and a simultaneous cutting of the aforesaid against a cutter placed in the cylinder lodging outlet and a position of the cutted tape rear extreme located under a retentive device in response to the piston displacement for its union by welding and formation of the ring around the poultry leg tibia in an inviolable seal.

According to vindication  8  is an apparatus characterized because the aforesaid strap or strip is extending starting from the frame passage uppon a cutter which forms an integral part of the outlet lodging edge in the cylinder nailing device, remaining the tape dispose in the refered annular passage along the piston perimetral extension in approximatelly 200 degrees surpassing the cutted tape free extreme of the refered retentive and welding device for its union with the cutted tape extreme rear portion.

According to vindication  8  and  9  is an apparatus characterized because the extreme tape retentive and fixed device is mounted over the cylinder extreme in a diametrally opposed form to the tape nailing device, being the retentive device constituted by a sucker organ provided by conducts connected to an air and sucker circuit with orifices to lodge the prongs of the nailing device and to an electric resistence for welding the supperpose tape portions
