Abstract

A method of making a tasty beverage from powdered tea prepared by heating and foaming a preparation obtained by adding powdered tea to water or milk, etc., using a steam-jet supplied by a steamer of, for instance, a coffee espresso machine.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A method for preparing beverages in which a preparation obtained by way of adding powdered tea to a liquid is formed while being heated by means of a steamer of a coffee espresso steamer.  
     
     
         2 . The method for preparing beverages according to  claim 1 , wherein said liquid is water.  
     
     
         3 . The method for preparing beverages according to  claim 1 , wherein said liquid is milk.  
     
     
         4 . A method for preparing beverages comprising the steps of: 
 providing liquid in a container;    adding powdered tea to said liquid in said container, thus obtaining a mixture of said powdered tea and said liquid; and    applying a steam-jet to said mixture so as to agitate said mixture, thus foaming said mixture.    
     
     
         5 . The method for preparing beverages according to  claim 4 , wherein said liquid is one selected from the group of water and milk.  
     
     
         6 . The method for preparing beverages according to  claim 4 , wherein said steam-jet is supplied by a steamer of a coffee espresso machine.  
     
     
         7 . The method for preparing beverages according to  claim 4 , wherein said steam-jet is at a temperature of 65° C. and applied to said mixture for at least seven seconds.  
     
     
         8 . The method for preparing beverages according to  claim 4 , wherein said container is tilted so that said steam-jet reaches an inside bottom of said container.
