Low profile hanger

Abstract

The present invention comprises a low profile hanger for supporting personal items. The low profile hanger includes a single member forming a first planar section. The first planar section is configured with an attachment structure to connect the hanger to a surface. Connected to the first planar section is a second planar section wherein the second planar section is attached to the first planar section by a first curved section. A third planar section is attached to the second planar section by a second curved section. To facilitate the low profile nature of the hanger, the second and third planar sections are offset from the first planar section.

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:  
     
         1 . A single member low profile hanger, comprising: 
 a first planar section having an attachment structure, the first planar section being configured to attach to a surface;    a second planar section, the second planar section being attached to the first planar section by a first curved section; and,    a third planar section, the third planar section being attached to the second planar section by a second curved section,    wherein the second and third planar sections are offset from the first planar section.    
     
     
         2 . The hanger of  claim 1 , wherein the attachment structure is at least one of a screw, nail, pin, clip, magnet, adhesive, sliding coupler or combinations thereof.  
     
     
         3 . The hanger of  claim 1 , wherein the hanger material is at least one of a metal, ceramic, plastic, combination or alloy thereof.  
     
     
         4 . The hanger of  claim 3 , wherein the metal is aluminum.  
     
     
         5 . The hanger of  claim 1 , wherein the surface is the underside of at least one of a table or desk.  
     
     
         6 . A low profile hanger, comprising: 
 a first planar section;    a second planar section, the second planar section being attached to the first planar section by a first curved section; and,    a third planar section, the third planar section being attached to the second planar section by a second curved section,    a means for attaching the for attaching the first planar section to a surface,    wherein the second and third planar sections are offset from the first planar section.    
     
     
         7 . The hanger of  claim 6 , wherein the means for attaching is at least one of a screw, nail, pin, clip, magnet, adhesive, sliding coupler or combinations thereof.  
     
     
         8 . The hanger of  claim 6 , wherein the hanger material is at least one of a metal, ceramic, plastic, combination or alloy thereof.  
     
     
         9 . The hanger of  claim 8 , wherein the metal is aluminum.  
     
     
         10 . The hanger of  claim 6 , wherein the surface is the underside of at least one of a table or desk.
