Abstract

A shelf device includes two or more lazy tong constructions each having a number of links pivotally coupled together with pivot pins, and one or more rods coupled between the lazy tong constructions, for coupling the lazy tong constructions together and for allowing the lazy tong constructions to be folded and expanded in concert with each other. The links may include different lengths, and may be coupled together to various shapes for supporting CDs or bottles or the other objects. One or more hooks or rings or loops may be secured to the rods for hanging purposes.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

         1 . A shelf device comprising:
a first lazy tong construction including a plurality of links pivotally coupled together with pivot pins, at least one second lazy tong construction disposed beside and parallel to said first lazy tong construction, said at least one second lazy tong construction including a plurality of links pivotally coupled together with pivot pins, and a first rod and at least one second rod coupled between said first lazy tong construction and said at least one second lazy tong construction, for coupling said first lazy tong construction and said at least one second lazy tong construction together and for allowing said first lazy tong construction and said at least one second lazy tong construction to be folded and expanded in concert with each other.

2 . The shelf device according to claim 1 , wherein said first rod and said at least one second rod each includes two ends each having a fastener provided thereon and engaged through said first lazy tong construction and said at least one second lazy tong construction for coupling said first lazy tong construction and said at least one second lazy tong construction together.

3 . The shelf device according to claim 2 further comprising at least one loop coupled to said fastener for hanging purposes.

         4 . A shelf device comprising:
a first lazy tong construction including a plurality of links pivotally coupled together with pivot pins, a second lazy tong construction including a plurality of links pivotally coupled together with pivot pins, at least one third lazy tong construction disposed beside and parallel to said first and said second lazy tong constructions, said at least one third lazy tong construction including a plurality of links pivotally coupled together with pivot pins, and a plurality of rods coupled between said first and said second lazy tong constructions and said at least one third lazy tong construction, for coupling said first and said second lazy tong constructions and said at least one third lazy tong construction together and for allowing said first and said second lazy tong constructions and said at least one third lazy tong construction to be folded and expanded in concert with each other.
